Really nice little hotel, just a short walk from the centre. Great value, real character and good staff. There are some really good restaurants a short walk away. Ate some really decent taco's and chillies relleno

Trip Advisor's reviews influenced us to choose this centrally located hotel at an affordable price. Straight off the various planes from Europe we wanted, comfort and walkability around the centro historico. We made a good choice. A superior room, with huge double bed, firm mattress, lots of pillows and warm blankets, a bathroom with good shower and plenty of amenities... More

This hotel is in an old building renovated in a modern style. It is tastefully done and very clean. It is excellently located in the historic center. Free parking and wifi are provided. The upper level rooms are very nice, with balconies with a fabulous view of the city. The continental breakfast included fresh fruit and fresh-squeezed orange juice, and... More

with all the other positive comments. Stayed in this lovely little hotel in July 2013 for a solo weekend trip. Zacatecas is a precious city/big town -- what a treasure. I'm so glad I visited. Despite the U.S. State Dept. "alert," I felt no danger, walking the stone streets and admiring the incredible colonial architecture. In the evenings, families fill... More

What a great property! New, modern, comfortable....why cannot large hotel chains design their rooms with this much character? Mr. Torres, the owner, is a great host. He spoke to us and definitely has an owner's pride in this property which he has developed over his lifetime. My stay in this hotel really was the cherry on the cake of what... More

We stayed at Casa Torres for a week around Easter (also the Zacatecas Music and Culture Festival). The hotel is on a quiet street and is a quick walk from the Cathedral and main street. We stayed in room 303, which was large (giant bed!) with couch and desk, and doors that opened to a private balcony. Hotel is fairly... More

Casa Torres seems to be quite new, and is quite the treat. Not the typical 'authentic' Mexican place, but very comfortable and thoughtfully put together. We stayed in a room facing the street with a big balcony, with a fine view of the town. But staying indoors was great as well, because of the bounciest carpet we've ever set foot... More

I stayed at Casa Torres for three nights. The "standard" room is very small and would have been claustrophobic; fortunately, they upgraded my room (without my asking) and the junion suite was very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and the top-floor restaurant serves a nice breakfast, which was included in the room price. The location is excellent -- a... More

There are fantastic works of art in all the hotel. Also, there is an exquisite taste in every room that makes them very comfortable. The bathroom is small, but relaxing. My only complain about the hotel are the rooms that have windows to the stairs of the hotel, because is very small and it can be a little noisy. At... More

My wife and I just spent a week in Zacatecas. We had checked all of the hotels on trip adviser and Fodors and decided on Casa Torres. A great decision especially after chjecking all of the others out in person. We stayed in a junior suite on the third floor with a balcony overlooking the whole city. It was elegant... More
