My wife and I visited this beautiful colonial hotel. The building itself is beautiful but perhaps the highlights of our visit was the discovery of "El Taller de Fabra" ( a silversmith that has a space inside the hotel in which you can see the making of silver jewelry and silver objects). The people at the hotel and the silversmith... More

We stayed here as a rest over from our trip from Guadalajara to Durango. And I wish we had stayed a couple more nights. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Big and spacious, it feels like your in your own little village. The rooms are very nice, well appointed, clean, and very spacious. The staff is very attentive, very friendly, and... More

Spent 4 nights during "Cultural Festival " and it was the best option ever as it is within walking distance from Cathedral yet far enough from all bustle. Also, rooms spacious and comfortable set in a unique old "vecindad". Staff helpful and very smiley. Highly recommended !

I had a wedding there, a few years ago and if was amazing! But some of our guests were robbed! ( cameras, cellphones) some random people probably from other rooms would join the wedding reception and steal things. Someone took my shoes and my flowers too! The hotel staff should be more careful when planning parties there. On the bright... More

After staying in Hotel Express for a couple of nights, I ventured into one of those massive interesting ancient doors in Zacatecas, with a Hotel sign above it and asked for premission to wander around and take photos. Granted premission, and I gradually realized that the Meson de Jobitos was HUGE and exceptionally beautiful. Went back to show the photos... More

We love this place, it use to be a nunnery and is now a hotel. The staff is super friendly, amazing breakfast buffet. Centrally located. All the rooms are different but clean and nice size. They have parking available.

about $100 usd for a good size loft, nice large bed and linens, friendly staff, we received a small discount which resulted in zero breakfast, not exactly thrilled about that, but walking around Zacatecas is a treat in itself and lots of very economical places to eat, 20 cents for fresh bakery items, who cares about silly hotel management making... We go to Jerez which is about an hour away all the time. This time we decided to go and check out Zacatecas so we stayed here for a night. The hotel was really nice! It has an old feel to it but was very comfortable. It was in a great location to get around the city.

The hotel was delightful. The building, over 200 years old, is beautiful. Our room had a bathtub which was great. Also the hotel has heat and since it was quite chilly when we were there, that was very welcome. Also the restaurant is very good. It's right downtown, close to everything.
