This must been the 7th time that I stay here in Zacatecas for buisiness. Each time between 7 and 12 days, always in the same hotel, Emporio. the house keeping department creates a really warm welcome and family feeling. Feels a little like home comming each time.

My wife Maria Huerta and her boss Voula Xifteris stayed at this beautiful hotel Emporio 3 days in November 2013, and they were so excited about their stay that I am planning to see with my own eyes the magic of this hotel! In their own words: " Everybody was so nice and helpful, and they made us feel like... More

After traveling almost 18 hours had delays on all 3 airports that I had layovers Me and my family finally wonder into the hotel just to experience nastiness and uneducated staff arguing with me about my reservation when I dad documentation in my very specific that I had requested for both rooms ( like a crib ) and an extra... Had been here before and really did not like it in the past. However, they have just redone it and the result is wonderful. Loved the newly decorated rooms facing the square and the magnificent cathedral. Spacious with all the necessary amenities. One small issue is that the bathrooms are still a bit small but the rest has been done... More

Hotel was lovely, rooms large and clean, breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice to suit all tastes both local and western. No AC in the rooms but at the time of year I stayed, September, it wasnt really needed.

The Hotel Emporio was like a pink palace glowing in the morning sun – to the right was the cathedral and ahead the Cerro de La Bufa – so I, though I was booked in somewhere else, I checked the rooms and found that for the same price as dark internal room at the nearby Santa Rita I could have... It's located across the street from the Cathedral (a must see in Zacatecas). Though we rented an inside room with view to the hotel courtyard, the room on the third floor was amazingly comfortable. We paid a little more than we normally do (found half price at hotels.com) this is definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The... More

This was one of the hotels for a conference in town. It met (almost) every business hotel standard I've seen around the world. Excellent middle of town location, directly across from government offices and the Cathedral. Clean, comfortable, plenty of room. The lobby and hallways had colonial charm. Food was very good, both breakfasts and late-night dinner (which was all... More

We arrived in Zacatecas on an overnight bus at about 5 or 6am and the hotel staff was nice enough to let us check into our room early and take a nap before going out into the city ... even though we had purchased a discount rate. The hotel is modern and the rooms luxurious ... I highly recommend the... More

If you shop around this place can be an absolute bargain. If huge rooms with air con, super duper cable and comfy comfy beds don't sell you though consider than some rooms boast views of the baroque cathedral and it's the perfect location for tourist-ing it up. Or maybe the excellent and gargantuan buffet breakfast should be mentioned, or the... More
