Stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't have been happier. The location is outstanding-we walked everywhere in Morelia. Our room was spacious & located on the first floor (actually second as the first floor is street level) directly across from the dining room and lovely courtyard. A short flight of steps to the top floor brought incredible views of the... More

When I stepped into Casa Xola, I told the owner and gracious host Arleigh, "It's so beautiful I feel like I could cry!" And I meant it, of course. Casa Xola is a special place. Clean and comfortable. I had the privilege of staying in Xola 4 on the rooftop. It was cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. It... More

My 11 year old son and I stayed at Casa Xola for two nights at beginning and end of our 12 day stay in the nearby town of Erongaricuaro. Casa Xola is a delightful oasis in the center of Morelia two blocks from the main plazuela and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The rooftop terrace has a lush garden and... More

Staying at Casa Xola was truly wonderful. I stayed at Xola 4, which was within the rooftop garden, with a view of the city and mountains. I had exactly what I wanted: a very comfortable and clean bed, privacy, stable wifi, lots of light, a view, clean water, security, a very friendly and helpful host, with many nearby restaurants, cafés... Arleigh was an incredible knowledgeable and friendly host. Casa Xola is right downtown and you can view the fireworks from the rooftop garden every Saturday! Arleigh knows a lot about the surrounding areas as well, so if you want to head to a beach or lake she will be glad to give tips. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well... More

This is a wonderful B&B. The hostess, Arleigh, is so nice and laid back. She has an assortment of dogs and cats, and you truly feel like you are staying at a friend's house. The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the historic center of town. Also, the building is extremely safe and protected. The rooftop garden... More

My wife and I have traveled to Morelia many times, and Casa Xola is the best place we have found. It is immaculately clean, very convenient to the Cathedral, central plaza, and best restaurants. The breakfasts are excellent. It is very safe too. We stayed a week and hope for a longer visit the next time.

It feels like you are staying at a friend's place as the service is so personal and hospitable. The hostess is kind and easy to talk to. She has a gem of a property a stone's throw from the centre of Morelia. The rooftop garden is beautiful and compliments the rest of the property. The highlights for me: delicious breakfast... More

What a pleasant surprise to find such wonderful accommodation and comfortable beds and hot showers and sweet landlady behind normal looking doors on the street. Kind of like finding Narnia in a wardrobe. The wifi is nice too and did I mention a rooftop garden?
