Casa limoncello has been fabulous! Anyone can stay at Holiday inn, this is a local historical landmark, on the main street, leading to the central plaza. It is walki.g distance to everything you need to see downtown. Breakfast is amazing and the archtecture is fantastic. The family that runs the place, I have known for years. Full disclosure, I used... More

Great location, great hosts --I felt like part of the family staying here. Raul and Suzanna take great pride in helping you to feel safe and at home always. For me, this included cooking delicious vegetarian meals! I loved the amount of laughter present here. And their two kids are so nice, and polite, and entertaining:)

Great location, near to sights but away from evening noise, extremely quiet. We stayed in the double room with private bath at the back - very comfortable. Best of all the owner and his family were absolutely charming and very helpful. The owner connected us with a nice couple who offer tours and so we were able to do day... More

Lovely quiet hotel with all the major sights in a walking distance. Breakfast also included fresh fruit and juice. Safe and quiet. The owner and his wife were very hospitable and sweet. Airy rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely outside patio .

I stayed here 2 days, and i liked my stay very much - above all, the location is wonderful and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and wifi worked alright. All in all, recommended!

My trip to Morelia was planned at first only to find the Monarch wintering habitat in the Sierras. I found at the same time a beautiful colonial city and a small owner-run B&B that was clean, convenient and safe. Plus the B&B has ample hot shower water - not always found in small hotels in Mexico. The entrance was a... More

Great place to stay. In the middle of the town. You can see all the small details in Raul's B&B, he restored all by himself, came all along from his journey throw the world. I had the best time in Morelia with Raul which gave me also through his backround as architect a lot of insides along. I really recommand... More

People say Morelia is a European-style city plopped down in the middle of Mexico (as if that were a bad thing!). I would describe Casa Limonchelo as a straight-forward European-style hotel plopped down in the middle of Morelia. There are just a handful of rooms that open onto two adjoining open courtyards (most share a bath--the owners chose to preserve... More

I'm a Budget Traveler and don't expect a lot besides the basics. For my 400 pesos I felt like I'd gone up several stars in one leap. Lovely, restored old-colonial childhood home of the architect-owner -- with very comfortable beds, fresh made breakfast, wifi, courtyard and interior common areas to spread out/chat, tranquil despite being perfectly situated at the near-heart... This is the best place to stay in Morelia. The husband - an architect - has restored his childhood home with simple elegance. He and his wife own and run the B&B. They are sweet, and so welcoming. We were invited to had dinner with them - the food was great! I can't recommend it enough - especially for the... More
