We stayed here for a couple of nights in our campervan and found it very relaxing and peaceful with spectacular scenery. The park is well laid out with a great range of accommodation options, and the staff are very friendly. Good bush walks and a trip out across the lake to try some fly fishing was good value

We stayed here one night. We stayed in a little fishermans cabin. It was OK. The views were great, but the cabin was tiny and slept 4 but thankfully there were only two of us. The toilets were outside (communal) and they had a lovely big cooking facility a 2 minute walk from us. The negatives were the heater nailed... More

A lovely camp site with very good facilities. The scenery is beautiful and the sites are well set out. The store was well stocked but would recommend that you get your groceries in a bigger town as the prices are more than the city would be. The staff were very friendly at check in and I had a very nice... More

A pleasant campsite with good, clean facilities makes a good base for doing the Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk. The lady at reception wasn't particular friendly when we arrived, but was ok the following day, so maybe she was just having a bad day. The campsite can arrange transportation to and from the trailheads and has a car park specifically for... More

Lake Waikeremoana is stunning and so worth the drive to get to it. We travelled inland from the East coast, when we turned the corner and had our first view if the Lake, I was totally WOWED. (I have travelled extensively around the world, and seen some amazing places/sites, so it takes quite a lot to Wow me!) We were... More
