Fairly Clean, a few stains on some covers. Old fashioned decor and rooms. Bathroom good. Could not see any smoke alarm though...I would stay there again but needs a bit of improvement. Great location.

The room we had was perfectly adequate. We had travelled from Kawerau via Waikaremoana so arrived tired, dusty and hungry. It was a very hot day and it was pleasant to relax in a clean well ventilated room on our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at the Restaurant, the Fish meal was particularly good, and awoke next morning... More

This hotel is basic for sure but spotlessly clean and the property has a really neat feel to it! Tropical...............there are some palm trees..............lots of flowers. nice pool (we were there in the winter so not open) We had the best fish and chips at the restaurant on site. Very friendly and helpful owner. We were not in the correct... More

This motel is on the main highway but set back off the road enough to make it peaceful. I agree with other reviewers that it is a little dated but very comfortable and more important very clean. This accommodation is within easy walking distance to the shopping area and supermarket. There was everything one could wish for in the very spacious... More

Units straight from the (early) 70s, no microwave, bathroom just like your grandparents used to have. And if you want clean nice tasting water out of the tap forget it and the hot water is a lovely pale shade of grey

Stayed one night. Got a good sleep in a comfortable bed, and everything I needed was there. Although the unit was dated it was definitely not shabby, everything worked, the shower was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The prices seem a little high for the quality of the accommodation (cw other towns), but given there are only... More

The rooms were clean but dated. (70s?) The shower was old but in great working order. Older style tv with a few sky channels. Friendly owner with friendly pets who turned up at breakfast for a snack. The room brakfast was large and well cooked. The kind of breakfast a working man would have. Not Cordon Bleu but tasty. Restaurant... More
