This is a perfect little B&B. The views are spectacular from the conservatory at the front of the house. You can actually view dolphins from the house (with a little help from a pair of binoculars). If you want a closer view of the dolphins, seals, whales and birds native to the area, it is a 25 minute walk to... More

Our room didn't have much of a view but from the front room, you couldn't believe how beautiful. The couple had a very tidy and comfortable space for guests and everything was clean. Breakfast was very nice (especially the black pudding!). The double bed we got was two singles together so there was a ridge which wasn't very comfortable but... More

We stayed for only one night. The room was ok and spacious, quite new bathroom. Common room is big and there is a wonderful view over the loch. Surely the best view we had in any B&B in Scotland. Good breakfast and helpful landlords. From the close-by lighthouse it is possible to see dolphin.

We stayed in 2010 before the family had their own bathroom, and we didn't even realise we were sharing a bathroom, it was so immaculate. The breakfast and service was superb, and the family were so friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this to any body. The only reason we haven't been back is that we usually stay with friends,... We booked for three nights and we were fortunate to be able to stay for five. Lovely place, so clean, so friendly, so comfortable and we were so sorry to leave. Fair Isle is a perfect base from which to explore and Rosemarkie is a gem for nature, geology, history and when you add in the locally sourced food, real... More

We chose this accomodation largely because of it's location to the Anderson in Fortrose, but are happy to report that the Fair Isle B&B offers a wonderfully high standard of welcome for B&B customers. The rooms are very well presented and the food very good - the full Scottish is nothing short of heroic. Each room is equipped with digital... More

Don't expect four-star service when you go to a three-star place, I would say in return to one other review critizing the missing room maid (not) changing towels. - We did not expect one! We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, a Scottish/Japanese couple with a nice boy. We liked their impressive wedding photos on the wall both from Japan... More

We stayed at this B&B because we didn't want a Hotel in Inverness. For visiting Inverness, Rosemarkie is placed perfectly: it only takes a 15 Min. motorway drive to the city centre. Rosemarkie itself is a tiny Village at the Coast. There are about 2 Restaurants and a Supermarket. The two reasons to visit Rosemarkie (except from its proximity to... More
