I paid 85 $ for a basic room - I feel this is overpriced. There was no phone, no pens, no paper and the tv got about 3 channels - one channel without audio. When I asked about this I was told it was the cable TV's problem. On Wednesday and Thursday there was VERY LOUD music from the restaurant/bar... more

I just wanted to warn guests that I booked a 3 day stay with Marisol. I was instructed to deposit $85 in their american account which I promtly did with no problem. I was emailing with the co-owner of the hotel ( her father named it after her) Marisol. She booked out reservation and then let me know that their... more

We stayed in the Marisol Hotel for a total of 3 nights in March, 2007. The owners are wonderful people, very friendly and helpful. The first two nights, we stayed in a standard room for $75/night including tax, and credit cards are accepted. A continental breakfast is included Monday through Saturday. Fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, pastries, juice, and coffee. Our... more

We recently stayed in this hotel for a couple of days as a transition between other accomodation. On the positive side, this hotel was immaculate, 1 block to the beach, close to a large grocery store and local bus stops and central for getting into the down town area of San Jose. The owner and his daughters were very lovely... more

I thought I had reviewed this hotel before. In a nutshell, then, my second review. Hard beds, no personnel on site after 1 pm Saturday. Other guests were locked in on Sunday morning, as you need a key to get out. Luckily we were there. No breakfast on Sunday. Nice Italian restaurant downstairs not open on Sunday--we got coffee at... more

We loved our stay at Marisol. The room was nice and clean - nothing fancy. The restaurant was AMAZING! The owners are great people. more

I was planning to stay a few days at the Marisol, but the first night proved unsleepable unless I took a heavy sedative. Their next'door liquor store brings guetto blasters up to 2 am, so if you want to sleep before 2 or 3 am, you better look elsewhere. more

This was a great deal! We only paid $65 per night, and we were upgraded to a suite for no extra charge. The rooms are very spacious, they all have their own private bathroom and a balcony. However, I thought that it was going to be closer to the beach than it really was. There were a few buildings between... more

We just visited San Jose Del Cabo for the first time. We were very pleased with the Marisol Hotel. Only 8 rooms, but very nice for the price and a very nice, accomodating family running the hotel. Good complimentary conti. breakfast each morning, right on the busline and very scenic. Highly reccomended for the budget minded couple or family. more
