This hotel was by far the cheapest deal (package/air/hotel..motel) we could find and we totally understand why it is cheap. Yes you know what to expect, but I don’t understand how anyone feels that hanging out at this hotel is fun, nice or enjoyable. The beach is by far the ugliest beach in all of Cabo hands down; the atmosphere... more

Firstly, this hotel is located in what they call the family side of town and is very relaxed and quiet so if you are looking for more of a party holiday you need to stay up the road in Cabo San Lucas, This hotel is right on the beach, you literally walk right out your room door onto the beach.... more

I am going back next month because I love to take a quick trip down to San Jose and stay at the Posada Real when I am feeling stressed out and need to get away. It is a quiet inexpensive hotel right on the beach with wonderful service--people constantly checking in with me to make sure everything is ok and... more

You know I have been reading alot of these reviews on the Posada and really have to say I am somewhat suprised at some of them. My husband and I have been going to the Posada for over 10 years the 1st part of November for at least a week and each year I look forward to going back mainly... more

We did get a good price, however the property has some issues. They knew it was our 20th wedding anniversary and I requested an ocean view room. We did not get it. Then to get service at the pool side bar was very slow (unless you were an employee) Managment should not allow the off duty employees to hang out... more

Ok...setting the scene...we are couple from the Midwest...42 and 47...traveled extensively to Rivera Maya, Nuevo Vallarta, Punta Cana doing all inclusives so we have a pretty good idea of choices and ammenities out there. First and foremost for both of us when researching a resort we need to know how nice the beach is! Then security, cleaniness follow and beverage... more

Have been there 4 times with " The Fish Sniffer " magazine .... great fishing / warm friendly staff / decent food ... not great - but definitely decent / awesome fish tacos / delightful to hang out & just relax @ the palapa bar for several hours each afternoon when we are done fishing ..... they keep your glass... more

The only good thing about this place is the beach (awesome) and the price (not low enough to make this a good value or acceptable choice). Rooms are very dated and lack basic amenities. Bathrooms are old and poorly equipped, bedding is tired and worn, and we found very large (but fortunately dead) cockroach by the side of our bed... more

We stayed here from march30-April2 and it was a very clean hotel, the staff at the front desk were wonderful. The food.... breakfast buffet was good, the taco bar was excellent if you could keep the birds around the pool area and beach out of your order. The dinner buffet was gross! It was the leftovers from lunch and the... more

We are now back for our second visit in a month and my partner just wants to stay full time. We have not been in the pool and do not sun tan but the shaded areas on the beach with the padded lounge chairs and the soft breezes are perfect for reading and watching the waves and often whales just... more
