It is very good for a budget hotel. The rooms were nice and modern. It is an older hotel, but the rooms have modern bedding and amenities. I like a good, safe, budget hotel when I am traveling solo and sometimes even if I am with my husband. Of course budget travel isn't for everyone but it is good for... More

For a 6 night stay it was, price wise, a pretty good deal. Things weren't as clean as we would have preferred but the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. We could speak a little Spanish so that was helpful when explaining things. The location was pretty perfect for us since it's in good walking distance from the central... More

As I write this i'm sitting in the lovely little restaurant on the porch. The waiters are kind but not pushy since I'm not eating or drinking. This hotel was spotlessly clean, cleaned by nice folks who work hard and will clean on your schedule. Oh.. and this is important.. the beds were good! Not just by Mexico standards by... More

This was an ok hotel. I wouldn't say great, cause that would be lying. But it had everything we needed for 1 good night's rest. I wouldn't stay here for a week. Don't expect luxury, just basic and clean. Breakfast was good, and good value. You order of a menu, had the pancakes (hot cakes) which were nice. The room... More

We stayed here for a couple of days at the end of our trip. We usually stay at El Encanto, but the rates seemed to have gone up. There isn't much difference between a newer room ($75 CDN) and an older room ($67 CDN); we looked at both and opted for the former which has a flat screen TV and... More

Found this place on Hotel.com and took a chance and was very happy with the results. Pictures online looked just like the rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were a little small but just fine. Window coverings could use some help but we did fine. Staff was very friendly. Must eat at the hotel. Great food for breakfast and lunch.... More

We stayed here 3 different days between the start and end of our trip. The beds are very comfortable. They have a restaurant, and the breakfast is good and reasonably priced. The staff is very helpful. I would stay there again if I went back to that area again.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect a pool or luxury grounds - there are none. Don't expect room luxuries, like working phones or lights. Don't expect a door-full of security locks - there's only one - in the doorknob. Don't expect ocean or mountain views. Don't expect a friendly and helpful front desk/management. You will get clean sheets... More

Hard to find but people know where it is and are very helpful. Each room has its own AC unit and ours worked well. There were dogs outside of our window that barked during the night which was annoying but we did not complain and so we can't hold that against the hotel. Nice ppl, tastefully decorated, hot water and... More

The hotel is ok. Small rooms, clean, the celling had a stain and the comforter too. But what is the best about this hotel is the restaurant. Need to have breakfast and eat Huevos Divorciados!! Loved the food. Good service too. They could make some improvements, but overall it's ok for the price and location.
