Well lets get one thing straight, this hotel is not 5 star. The staff most definitely is. The location is great, the gardens super. The pools very good and the food excellent. The only reason the hotel itself is not 5 star is its age. We had a great two weeks and will go back for sure.

We stayed at Presidente March 24 to March 31. We've been traveling to different parts of Mexico for the past 10 years, always stayed at an AI. Check-In: flawless, very quick, we arrived at the hotel around 2:30PM and our room was ready Rooms: standard, clean, beautiful view. We stayed in room 7117 which is a great location, close to... This was our first winter vacation and we had a great time. We enjoyed everything and had no complaints. The staff at the resort are second to none. Very friendly and accomodating. Gustavo in the Napa restaurant was an absolute pleasure to see every morning. Francesco in the Cantina always greeted you with a smile and was an excellent waiter.... More

We booked a last minute trip and decided to stay away from Cabo San Lucas. This hotel was perfect for a very quiet, relaxing trip. The food was as expected from an all inclusive, the drinks were strong, and the staff very friendly. The rooms were clean, but nothing luxurious. There were always loungers available around the pools and hammocks... More

My husband and I stayed at the Presidente with my parents, sisters, and brother-in-law from the week of 3-20-3-27. The was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. This was my first experience with an All-Inclusive resort but people in our party have been to various resort chains in many different areas of Mexico. The Presidente had beautiful... More

We stayed at this resort March 14-21. Our check-in was quick and easy. We stayed in room 6314 which had a balcony on the third floor and overlooked the Family Pool area. The resort itself was very well maintained and comfortable. this is the third all inclusive resort we have stayed in and this one I would recommend to anyone.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at InterContinental Presidente with another couple in late February. We purchased the trip via Bookit.com and got a decent deal which included the airfare in our package price. While it's difficult to complain considering how affordable the trip was, I do feel like we could have gotten a better value at another resort. While I... More

Very clean, friendly sincere staff, well run facility. We were there from March 6-20. If you're looking for nightlife this is not your hotel but if you are looking for a comfortable family vacation or a quiet couples vacation then this is an excellent choice. Breakfasts and Lunches were very delicious with lots of choices. Buffet Dinners were not as... More

I only stayed here one night but I still felt that was too long. The hotel was not to my normal standard. It is all-inclusive and the price was very inexpensive. But- you get what you pay for. The rooms were a minimum level of cleanliness/sanitation and the rooms/linens/food were all shabby and drab. Although the rooms were "sanitary", it... More

I would have to agree with the title, in that a One Night stay, is "Not a vacation,".... Nonetheless, I have to respect the fact that personal impressions and observations have their place. Being the more seasoned and established property in San Jose, I fully understand that there are newer and more posh/plush properties in the area, however, I feel... More

Our trip was 02-4-09 through 02-07-09. We quickly learned the routine. The buffet style breakfast was wonderful with the chefs were willing to cook special order omlets that they delievered to our table. Plenty to eat and lots of choices including pastries, meats, juices, fresh fruit, eggs, coffee, tea etc. One waiter even got us Bailey's for our coffee! The... More
