first of all, we were very disappionted that the beach was not swimmable because of the huge waves and the undertow. we booked our trip with funjet.com ,and they do not mention anything about the beach. Also the food is subpar, you pay all this money and you eat food like taco bell.they say walking distance to shopping, but they dont mention... more

I booked a four night stay for my family. It was our first family vacation out of the country. We had some trouble with our passports at the airport and arrived one day late. I called the 1-800 number to inform the hotel of our problems, but the issue was not reported directly to the hotel and the Presidente has... more

Be aware of Martha Lira, she was so rude and disrespectful and because of her I will never recommend this hotel. Also, it is important to know that: 1. 2 of the 3 pools have no service 2. Pools closes at 6:30 pm 3. You cant t swim on the ocean 4. The “palapas” at the beach are horrible 5.... more

Thank you for your comments which are duly noted. We make every effort to ensure the ambiance and proper treatment of our guests, and I apologize that this was not your impression of Marta who is part of the vacation “Club at Presidente” team. I will follow up with their director to make them aware of your point. With respect...

Wife and I stayed at this resort 6/1 through 6/8 and had a great time. Check in was a breeze, then off to adult pool bar for a couple of cold cervesa's. We met up with some great TA members who were great company, and great informational aides the entire stay. Our original room was in building 1 on the... more

I, my spouse, our two friends and their daughter visited the PI for two weeks at the end of March. My spouse and I have been to many AI resorts in Mexico, Cuba, and DR, so we have a lot to compare this to. Let me break it down: SERVICE: Because we were travelling with our friends, we wanted to... more

We stayed at this hotel the week of Easter and it was packed but all the staff was extremely friendly. The food was great, although we like spicier food it still had taste and was delicious. We could not get enough of the room service chicken soup and cokes...glass bottle cokes no cans or fountain drinks. The rooms were always... more

We stayed at the Presidente from April 23rd to May 3rd, 2009. This was our first experience at an all-inclusive resort, and it was very positive. For an ‘older’ resort, the grounds at the Presidente were beautiful, well-maintained, and VERY clean. Though we were there during ‘off-season’, we found check-in, check-out, and all other services to be quick and efficient,... more

We stayed at the Presidente last Sept(yes it's taken me this long to write review!) for 2wks. Everything was wonderful, from the staff, to the food(for an all inclusive). We've stayed at many all inclusive resorts in Mexico and to us this is one of the best, it is not too big,the food as I mentioned is excellent. Night time... more

6 of us stayed at the Intercontinental Presidente and enjoyed our week. We were a little dissapointed that nowhere on the website does it mention that you can not swim in the ocean. The pools and bars closed much to early - who is done with the swim up bar at 7:00 PM. Restaurants opened at their convenience... if the... more

We stayed at the Presidente from April 25-May 4, 2009. The resort was not full due to the economy and we thought it was perfect that way. We love the adult pool with a great view to the ocean. Very quiet and secluded, but with a bar and a wonderful bartender (Alma!). The room was fine by Mexico standards. We... more
