Spent March 16-21 at Holiday Inn Resort. The good things....grounds are nice with 3 pools, every part of the resort is very clean, most of the staff are very nice. The bad things....unfortunately you can't swim in the ocean due to the undertow, preferred the a la carte restaurant over the buffet and check in took much longer then expected.... More

We were a little concerned about conditions after the hurricane, but the renovations are great. The new eating areas are a big improvement and the food is great. One wing is not quite ready yet and there are a few things need fixing, like our closet door, but they are making great progress. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Just returned from a week at the HIRLC. Overall, it met expectations for a 3.5 to 4 star "budget", boutique-size all-inclusive holiday for our family of 3 for March Break via Sunwing.
