I traveled down to the Riu Santa Fe from April 5-12, 2014 for a friend's stagette week. The resort was beautiful and the service was superb. They had the fastest check-in of any all-inclusive I've ever been to. We were literally checked in and in our room in under ten minutes..all with drink in hand, of course! The food was... More

We had the opportunity to travel to Cabo to see Sammy Hagar play his birthday show at the Cabo Wabo Cantina (this is a must see downtown)! We wanted to save some money on the hotel as the airfare was a killer from Atlanta. I had stayed at another Riu in Cancun and had a great time. Here is my... More

First off - let me say I'm here with my family of 5 - three kids 17, 14, and 13 with my wife. We booked two rooms that were 'adjoined' via the front entry way in Building 4 of the property. We had the garden view which faced out to an empty lot towards the West. Didn't mind this because... More

Overall a good place to visit, preferably in low season, rooms spacious and comfortable, warm service from the staff, excellent location. Although the food is very fresh, good seasoning and abundant, missing a bit of variety.

We stayed here on our third trip to Mexico. Cabo is very nice, my dad calls it Scottsdale South. The Riu is very nice, well kept, super clean, friendly service...but the food is not as great as other places I've been and the buffet restaurants feel a little like cafeterias. We didn't do any of the reservation restaurants after we... More

This was my second time at the Riu Sante Fe, First time was excellent and I loved it which is why I chose to return. However I will never again go in March. While the resort was still fantastic, unfortunately March also involves Spring Break and the numerous college kids who took over every pool and were unable to hold... More

Just got back from our week long stay at the Riu Santa Fe and we had a wonderful time. I would have to agree with the other reviews that the beds are hard but everything else was great. I could not believe how clean and well kept the resort was and how friendly everyone was.

Love love loved Cabo and the Riu! I'll try to just get the important points we traveled in a group of 6 4 of us we're in our late 20's and my parents in their early 50's. We had a great time and I would recommend this resort to my friends and family. I don't however think its a great... More

Food, drinks, entertainment and the weather was great. Staff extremely friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Bar staff was fun at night especially Mr. Luis, Dessi and Roberto, they kept the drinks coming and they were entertaining to watch.

There is nothing to do at night! I was so bored I fell asleep before the adult show started (10pm) and from what I heard it wasnt even entertaining. Pools closed way too early so we sat around doing nothing for hours after supper. Two twin beds pushed together to make a king size bed was not what I was... More
