Our two week stay in Cabo San Lucas this February seemed to be comprised of two separate vacations. The first week was spent in a typical highrise "condotel" on Medano Beach, and was nice but typically touristy. The second week felt a world apart, as we immersed ourselves in the peace and tranquility of the Mexican Inn, just off the... More

The Mexican Inn is small in size but big in hospitality. Norman, his son Iran, & daughter Nancy provide an excellent base when visiting Cabo. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and they will go out of their way to make you feel at home.

My kids and I stayed at The Mexican Inn over the New Years week for 4 nights. The rooms were very clean, comfortable beds, the breakfast was traditional and very good, and the staff excellent. We would go back in a heart beat and stay at this hotel again (ask my daughter). We are not resort people, and always stay... More

I stayed in the Frida room for 16 nights and I had a wonderful stay. Nancy was always so sweet and accommodating, the whole family was great. It's such a wonderful peaceful, quiet place in the downtown core, like an oasis. I would definitely come back!

Beautiful Inn, nice large room. Friendly welcoming staff. Prices very reasonable. Only 2-3 blocks from the Marina, shopping, nightlife. Unfortunately its in an actual neighborhood and there are a ton of loud barking dogs and a very loud tortilla factory across the street.

We stayed in the Margarita room for 2 nights during a recent visit to Cabo. Our room and bathroom were extremely clean. (We did find two cockroaches, which seemed a little slow - and so perhaps poisoned? - in the room the first morning we woke up. So if you're looking for total luxury, this is not your spot.) The... Be prepared to NOT stay here -- they overbook and overbook and overbook. When you arrive they tell you you are staying elsewhere. Elsewhere means cold showers, cockroaches and no internet; even though you booked a place which presumably included hot water, fewer cockroaches and reasonable connectivity. You might actually think you booked Norman Diego's, but be prepared to be... More

The hosts are very friendly, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is wonderful. They don't speak much English, but still went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Overall, a great experience.

The courtyard of The Mexican Inn is the best part, with a fountain, tons of plants, shade, colorful dishes and decorations, quiet, and cleanliness, which is a real relief after walking or driving around hot, dusty, noisy, dirty Cabo. The room (Lupita) was small and had a window onto the street where dogs were barking and people sometimes shouted and... More
