We stayed at this resort with our best friends the week of September 1-8, 2009. We reserved it using an RCI exchange vacation. From the moment we entered the lobby, we felt like we were in for a real treat. The art work and accessories are gorgeous. The front desk was very efficient, and the personnal were more than accommodating... more

I stayed in the Monte Cristo villas on the hillside above Pueblo but passed through Pueblo Sunset. It was SOOOOO nice, I had to write this note. Everything was great from the staff to the food to the pools to the spa, not to mention the little market store that sold everything from chewing gum to fine champagne (and of... more

Review of Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Airport to Hotel: The heat and humidity hit us as soon as we stepped down the stairs at the Airport (it is a tiny airport). My husband had arranged transportation with a cab company for $80, and the gentleman was waiting for us right outside. There is an actual room just for timeshare salespeople... more

The writer is clearly entitled to her opinion about the food quality at Sunset Beach, though it’s hard to swallow given the stacks of overwhelmingly positive comment cards that cross my desk every day, especially about LaFrida Restaurant. But her recollection of menu prices might be a little fuzzy. For example the standard Pueblo Bonito Kid’s Menu features 18 different...

By far this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The service was impeccable. I had a few issues with my air conditioner and upon calling the lobby, it was addressed within minutes. The cleaning service was a constant as they cleaned the rooms in the morning and came back in the evening to turn down the... more

Intially had two Jr. Executive Suites with great views, but maintenance issues with air conditioning, ants & a toilet that wouldn't flush were constant distractions for 1st three days. On 3rd night, heat in top floor room became unbearable and night manager provided our group of eight (family & friends) with a Super Presidential Suite for the following day so... more

I am grateful to the reviewer for having taken the time to write about her stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa and sincerely regret our apparent inability to provide her with the resort stay that she was expecting. I will most certainly heed her valuable comments in order to improve the areas she feels are deficient.

Stupendous!

The Pueblo Bonito Sunset is a pretty spectacular place. The pools are amazing, the views are spectacular, the grounds and general cleanliness are second to none. We had some frustrating moments checking in but other than that, the service was also above par. As for the food, nothing spectacular but all good quality (the deli in the onsite store was... more

The resort was beatiful, comfortable & well run. The staff was very attentive & friendly. It was very clean. We tried all 5 pools & loved them all. Most were uncroweded (the sky pool was much busier & had more of a party crowd - but the view was unbeatable). We only tried one restaurant, La Nao, for Sunday Brunch... more

We spent a week at the PBSB. The group included my husband, our 21 year old daughter and two other 21 year old girls. We used our timeshare and bought a room through American Express travel. Unfortunately, the bought room was not a timeshare room. It was a hotel room and was slightly smaller than our timeshare room; as well... more

The subject of taxis in this review needs to be addressed; it is untrue that they belong to the governor and are the only means of transportation to the airport. Dozens of transportation services are available if they are properly booked at least 48 hours in advance. TripAdvisor members should check the forums or search the Internet about booking roundtrip...

So we just got back as in 5 hours ago. We had a great time and loved the resort for its cleanliness, service, rooms and amenities. But the food...is lacking. We had several $200 dinners that were not worth it, like not even close. We left comment cards for them. The odd thing is I think most of the wait... more
