The resort was beautiful, way too big making walking anywhere impossible. When the golf carts showed up (they needed to be called each time) we got the ride of our lives. The fumes burned my eyes so badly that I'm finally getting over it a couple days later. If you did not hang on you ran the risk of being... more

My husband and I just returned from a 2-week stay at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. Although we had booked a 1-bedroom, 2-bath executive suite, upon checking in we were upgraded to a super-executive suite -- which has basically the same floorplan, except for an EXPANSIVE terrace equipped with its own jacuzzi. We would strongly recommend this upgrade if available.... more

Electric golf carts are not feasible at the resort due to the steep incline of the terrain that provides all rooms with beautiful ocean views; the only carts that safely provide service are the gasoline-powered variety. We have found that our Toro Workmen, while costly, are the safest and most reliable transportation option.

If you are looking for extraordinary service, amenities and hospitality Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is the destination. We just spent a week this time and wish we would have spent two. The staff always was going above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. The 4th of July party that the resort hosted was a lot of fun with a... more

Horrible service. Had items stolen from suite. "Security" wasnt helpful and was rude. Staff had bad attitude and was not helpful in the process to come in to the resort or to get out. WOULD NOT come back here. more

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is an exceedingly safe and protected place. I regret this person’s alleged loss of personal property. However, as stated on the registration card of about every hotel in the world, hotels cannot assume responsibility for missing objects that are not placed in the hotel safe available without charge at the front desk 24 hours a day....

We just returned last night from PBSB and we loved it! To preface as others have done, this is not a party resort since it is pretty far from town. We traveled with our two boys (7 and 10) our parents and sister in law and this was perfect. There are many pools to choose from although we spent most... more

I have to start this review with a blanket statement about PB Sunset Beach..."It is what it is." If you are the young, party-seeking, Giggling-Marlin-and-Squid-Roe-type, this probably isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a secluded, scenic, classy resort with amazing views, great pools, and outstanding service, then this is your place. We first visited Sunset Beach... more

Good things: the suites were perfect, staff excellent. Didn't like: having to take golf carts everywhere, no real beach time, had to take bus to other hotels to enjoy the beach ... which is what we do in Cabo, and one of the restaurants was closed. Tendency when returning to hotel at 5 to stay there and not go into... more

My wife and I were directed to PB at Sunset Beach by the RCI rep. My parents gave us their time share week as a wedding gift and we couldn't have been more pleased. Book the van ride from the airport to the resort in advance. It was $18 or $19 per person, not bad compared to the taxi's. The... more

Well first let me start of with the good things. The property is just gorgeous and we ended up in a master suite instead of the jr. suite we paid for which was an added bonus. The rooms are very nice... two full bathrooms with walk in showers and the one off the bedroom also has a tub. The beds... more

We're grateful for this fine report. However, the information given about an automatic 15% gratuity is inaccurate. There is a 10% service charge (for staff that do not normally receive tips) applied to non-timeshare guests (those paying room rent) as is common in Los Cabos... but guests tip their maids, bellboys, waiters etc. directly and separately. This was cleared up...

I booked my stay more than 6 months ago and pre-paid in full. Since then, prices have dropped greatly. The hotel refuses to give an upgrade for the difference or make any concessions. The hotel has been incredibly rude and unhelpful. The lady at the reservations desk actually yelled at me. The hotel offered a solution: cancel my old reservations... more

A big thank you to TripAdvisor for allowing me to provide the resort's side of this story. Prior to writing this review, the member called us to say that she had rented a timeshare week from one of our timeshare owners several months back and that now that "prices had dropped" she felt that the resort owed her some type...
