it is an authentic hotel in the mexican area of cabo san lucas which is otherwise a colony of the usa. it is a good location from where you can reach almost anything of interest in cabo by walking. even walmart is walking distance being only 2 km away. i rode my bike in less than 10 minutes from the... This is a nice budget hotel that is conveniently located not too far from the marina - 5 minute walk away from the shopping mall and restaurants. The hotel staff were very attentive and polite. Most spoke good English, and there was even a native English speaker for one shift. CONS: - smell in the bathroom; - so-so breakfast; -... More

Well we knew that staying at this hotel would not be a 3 star experience but I's say on it's best day is 2.5 stars. With the exception of the hotel manager none of the staff speaks English. The staff was VERY nice and helpful. We always felt safe. The hotel is located in a residential area. We walked to... More

This hotel is not for everyone, see previous reviews. We stayed three days over New Years eve and enjoyed the proximety to Cabo Central. Would walk up to the main area, stay for 3 - 4 hours, back to the hotel for a couple hours, rest, then back up again. This hotel is for the budget traveler and for the... More

This was a nightmare. Drunk guests passing out in front of our room, smoking, cigarettes all over, seeds on the floor. Bad service and not clean. The breakfast is either one banana or a small cup of melon. You have to choose and cannot get more. And each guest is entitled to only two pieces of bread and some jam.... More

It really is well located, really close to the Clubs and the downtown. If you want to spend more money on the atractions that Cabo offers than in a hotel, this is the place. The service is trustworthy and also the mini-market and the laundry are a nice bonus.

The Santa Fe hotel was a great choice for our first visit to Los Cabos. Well is situated near to downtown easy acess to come, its very nice and quiet place. The room was lovely and very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff accommodating, especially the valet service.

Stayed 2 weeks - cheap but no hot water many days and no water on others. Ok if you need a convenient base in Cabo but not a place to go for romance!! not much more to say but only 10 minutes from party bars and marina area

We booked this last minute due to its proximity to downtown and the great price we saw. It's true that it was only 5-6 blocks from all the big clubs and restaurants but those blocks change very quickly towards this el centro neighborhood. At night it feels a little more abandoned and off the tourist routes though I never felt... More
