You have to stay at this B&B. The room was immaculate. The breakfast was reastaurant quality. However, it was our hosts Dorothyt and John who made our stay so memorable. We had a fabulous stay and hope to be return one day. It is an easy decision to make when looking for accommodation in this part of Scotland: Branter Lodge... More

Wonderful welcome from John and Dorothy with a very kind offer of a welcome glass of wine or a dram. Our "Islay" room was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated in Islay tartan soft furnishings.En suite was perfect but the finishing touch was small side room with a selection of beverages and delicious shortbread. Breakfast menu was first class and Boy!... More

It has to be said that Branter B&B owners Dorothy Williamson and her husband John were the most hospitable hosts of any B&B that I have ever stayed in. Their warmth and kindness and excellent food were second to none. The facilities were excellent. I wish them continued success for the future and will certainly call back again.

Had a wonderful stay at Branter Lodge on a cycling trip round Argyll. John and Dorothy were great hosts and clearly love what they do. The room was tasteful, comfortable and spacious. I loved the selection of different teas and hot chocolates on offer and the little box containing 'things you might forget' was a lovely touch. Breakfast was a... More

Branter Lodge is in a stunning location with unbelievable views from all windows. The rooms are impeccably decorated, with the most comfortable bed I have slept in in a while, and a comprehensive tea tray! Dorothy and John are lovely people, who couldn't be more welcoming (the glass of wine on arrival was greatly appreciated after a long day's work!).... More

We received the warmest of welcomes by our hosts at Branter Lodge, the rooms were excellent, warm and cosy, we were thoroughly spoilt and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay even more comfortable. We would certainly recommend a stay at this beautiful spot.

We spent a perfect pre Honeymoon/post Wedding here. The accomodation was one of the best nights sleep we have had in ages (currently seeking new bed). Breakfast was tremendous with perfect fresh Scottish produce. John and Dorothy are warm, welcoming and very pleasant company. We would highly recommend there Lodge as a place to stay.
