Great service, pleasant surroundings. Stay a few days and walk through town to see the mission and stop at cafes. Longer excursions to see archeological sites/cave paintings and whale whatching available.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the lovely small town of the same name amidst a lush oasis. Like other Desert Inns run by the government, the spacious rooms surround a large courtyard. Internet signal from room was weak but passable, though could not use Skype.

We've stayed here on two different trips to the lagoon. For some reason, it's more difficult to get a reservation if you use the number given by Expedia -- or try to book online.
