beautiful grounds and pool, great meals and bar. Service is excellent. Some parts of rooms are a little data, but maintenance is great. would highly recommend! safe and accomodating, free breakfast which is reasonable. Cannot beat the price!

Unfortunately, in Moyobamba you don't have much of a choice if you want a hotel with amenities such as gardens, pool, bar, etc. Puerto Mirador might be your only choice unless you want to stay in a basic hostel in the city or in a lodge type accommodation. The hotel has a large infrastructure but it is completely outdated an in... More

I have stayed at Hotel Puerto MIrador many times and always have a good time. Good food in the restaurant which is on site. Awesome swimming pool and amazing scenic views. Rooms are small but clean and nice. I have stayed alone, with my partner for romantic holiday and also with my mom and my kids last trip in March... More

The hotel’s walls and furniture whisper of finer times. Rooms are dusty, windows and doors are hard to open, and the price for all of this is high. The hotel staff were congenial and the grounds very nearly compensated for the mildewed spaces, if one can keep an open mind. I spent only one night at this hotel, with a... More

Our stay was rather brief, just one night arriving after dark and leaving early next morning. Would have liked to stay longer. The hotel has good restaurant and pool facilities, and WiFi internet. No complaints, but didn't much opportunity to explore all the services. (Objective of the stop-over was to visit Morro de Calzada). Note that as with many hotel... More

We went to this hotel in Moyobamba for four nights. It is clean, nice rooms and everything. But in Moyobamba is not really a lot to do. The main thing to do is to go go Tingana National Park, which is really nice, calm and has a lot of animals. But thats it all the other activities you can do... More

We have stayed 3 times at the Puerto Mirador, for relaxing breaks. Unlike other reviewers, we found the cabins to be really clean and the bedlinen and towels to be good quality. TV and wifi in the cabins. From the cabin's little patio you can watch the hummingbirds and listen to the cicadas, as well as enjoy the spectacular views... More

I stayed at the Puerto Mirado for an extended trip in June, 2010 and found it to be a bit worn and in need of some updating but it is kept very clean and the employees are very friendly and accomodating. And it was extremely inexpensive - about $32/night. There was TV and wi-fi service in the rooms. The restaurant... More

$38 gets you a single room with clean, howbeit, worn thin sheets and gray towels (one was marked with lipstick). If the service and the rooms matched the upscale look of the pool area then this would be a good hotel, but they don’t. If you want a place where you could swim and have a beer this is the... More
