Beautiful old and charming hotel from the 1930's. We are planning on spending my Birthday there and went to view the property this morning. Gracious staff, nice amenities, well kept grounds. We look forward to reviewing the restaurant and bar next visit. Magnificent wood carvings throughout hotel. Old world feel to this place. Unique!

This private beach-front old-time hotel reminds me of an old romantic movie. It is situation on a huge peace of property, with lots of paths to walk your dog around on. we checked out the others in san carlos. all in decline. the playa de cortes gives the flavor of mexico. it is in my opinion the only choice in this area. beautiful and relaxing. stay here. craig
