We did the reservation for the "plus vista mar matrimonial",these are renewed rooms, and are in the "sonora" building (there are about 7 buildings in the hotel, each with a name on it). The sonora building its in front of the sea, and at the side of the pool,so the location its perfect. The rooms are fine. Sure, I noticed the... More

A/C not working. Very, very poor WiFi. Shower minimally working. Broken concrete around the pool. Lots of missing tiles in the pool. Fuse boxes with exposed wires open in the hallways. Rooms with broken windows. Dirty beach. Tennis courts with bushes growing in them. The hotel needs major maintenance, Beds were OK and the staff was very friendly. The location... More

Really too bad because the location and the view are absolutely stunning. We had broken floor tiles, broken bathroom tiles and no warm water, which in the summer with the heat is not a problem but during Easter, when the weather is not as warm yet, it makes a difference. The service at the restaurant is extremely slow, so take... More

My couple and friends stayed at this hotel on Semana Santa weekend which is one of the most busy weeks for hotels and businesses. We got there with no reservation and we thought at first that the price we were paying was fair until we got to our rooms. Not only was the room dirty the windows wouldn't shut fully... More

The rooms are outdated but comfortable and....who is going to stay in the room with the beautiful beaches, great views and nice swimming pool? The kids had a blast!!!! And we relax.... my husband went fishing at walking distance :), we... More

What a joke! Its a joke of a place but its no joke if you get stuck staying here. I can actually say only 1 good thing about this place and that is that it has potential to be a nice place but one would have to basically tear it all down and rebuild it. This property is an old... More

The hotel is located in a great spot, away from any possible noise and stress, surrounded by the mountains i had a lovely stay overlooking the mar de cortes from diferent sides and the mountains! Its worth the value considering is not a 5 star hotel, you get much more than you pay. Highly recommended.

Very scary place. I'd booked the room three days before through Expedia, but when I got there they didn't have the reservation. That happens sometime in Mexico and I explained that I could simply call Expedia and it would all be worked out. No go. They wouldn't let me use the phone for the toll free call. Okay, then I'll... Paradiso is now a Mexican -owned resort, formerly a Club Med. Most of the rooms are geared for singles, with separate twin beds- so be sure to ask for a suite or King bed if that's what you need. They do have a nice honeymoon suite on the fourth floor with a large private balcony patio and a wonderful view.... More

We stayed at this "resort" for a wedding. They switched the reception location a few days prior because the "AC was not working" in the ballroom my brother wanted. He had reserved the place since 2011. Paradiso offerred him to have it at the lagoon, or the beach with a discount. It sounded fishy to my brother, but what could... More
