Lovely courtyard hotel organized in small houses. Large rooms, decorated with fine taste and Mexican handicraft. All is well thought of, good breakfast, wonderful garden. NON existing Wi-Fi. We and other guests had to wander in the garden with our mobile devices up in the air trying to get some kind of connection. From the rooms: impossible to get a... More

Stayed here one night when in town for a wedding. We got the room close the the street which was a bit noisy. The room itself huge: with separate sitting area, good big bed, kitchen, lotsof light and viewing the garden. Breakfast was very good, nice patio/gardens. Hotel has 7 rooms and is situated just a bit (5 - 10... More

Location: They feature a 5-10 min walk to the Centro, even tho, that's not acurrate, you need at least 20 min to get there, but buses go around the property quite often so you can catch them and so as cabs. The location for itself it is not bad, it looks a secure area, yet, during the night we didn't... More

Ahh... we love getting feedback from guests as we are always seeking to make our property better and improve experiences for our guests. I always enjoy talking with guests and seeing San Miguel through the eyes of those new to San Miguel. I thought I'd take this opportunity to talk about the length of our beds which one reviewer mentioned... More

This is just our opinion - the trip advisor blogs state the walk from Casa Carly to the Jardin is a 7-10 minute walk....running perhaps but not walking. We found it to be between 20 and 30 minutes without stopping to browse and at a fast pace. A perfect establishment amongst trees and gardens, very quite and comfortable. We were... More

Arrived on Sunday and left Monday so never met Carly but she has a wonderful BnB. Cute as could be. Staff was great. Modest price for breakfast but it was delicious. Wifi was inconsistent in my room but great just outside my window on the patio. Large room...old TV but good reception...paint is chipping off some of the rooms interior... More

We traveled to the State of Michoacán Mexico, over the Christmas holidays, to visit the sanctuaries where the Monarch Butterflies migrate to each year. After flying into Morelia, we rented a car and drove to San Miguel de Allende. There we spent a most unforgettable night at Casa Carly and rang in the New Year in front of the Cathedral... More

We stayed in Casa Carly last December. We rented two "casitas". It's on a main road but it's very private. The whole atmosphere is very lovely and each casita has it's own charm. After a long day in town, coming back to this cozy apartments was very nice. Both casitas were very spacious and nicely decorated. We liked it so... More

Casa Carly was a great find. We were staying in Guanajuato and decided to take the bus to San Miguel for the night. Casa Carly fit the bill. It is an easy walk into the historic centre, but very private. I found a great rate for the hotel and Carly and all are wonderful hosts. If you get the studio... More

I was in San Miguel from April 22 - May 3 with a group of 21 students from Canada. It was a great place for the group: Very convenient to El Centro, buses went by frequently, cabs were very easy to hail from just outside the door. A very easy walk as well. The neighbourhood is a very traditional one... More
