The posada is a nice oasis, behind heavy wood doors that face the street, you enter into a private courtyard which is quite inviting. I have no complaints about the common areas, and I enjoyed the breakfasts (we could watch the folks cooking in the large, open cocina, which added to the charm). This bed and breakfast is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The outside street door opens onto an absolutely lovely garden area with sculptures and fountains. When I first arrived in San Miguel, I stayed at another posada, but there was always noise (music, other guests) that interferred with my sleep. When I looked for an alternative, most all the other posadas were over $200, which is expensive for Mexico. Then I saw an ad in the local newspaper for Posada Corazon, and went to see... more

I stayed here with 3 friends in the summer of 2005. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, and the entire place was beautifully furnished. more
