The Oasis is exactly what our friends had told us it would be only better. The hotel's design is quite sophisticated and it has a staff to match. Don't book any early excursions because you will sleep at least an hour longer than you're use to. The beds and linens are heaven. Breakfast and coffee were great. We fell in... more

Everything was perfect. The staff were the best we have ever come across. Martin, Sylvia, Juan and Reyna did an excellent job to make our stay memorable. From the great restaurant recommendations, the delicious breakfasts and the extra tea we wanted from time to time we were always met with warm smiles and a great attitude. The pastries at night... more

The three days spent at the Oasis proved an added pleasure and enjoyment to San Miguel de Allende itself. An older building, in the heart of the town, had been carefully converted by the owners into a most interesting accommodation as a four bedroom hotel. While all four of the bedrooms differ all are equally accommodating in all essentials and... more

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful stay at the Oasis . We are huge fans of La Casa que Canta in Zihuatanejo which has been our favorite hotel in Mexico and which has an incredibly good staff . The staff at the Oasis is every bit as good and maybe better and they speak better English .... more

We just returned from our late july trip to San Miguel. We have been visiting each summer for the last four years, and our experience at the Oasis beats that of renting a private home. Rosario did our laundry more rapidly (within a day), the breakfasts were much more delicious (especially the fresh cinnamon rolls and scones!), we had evening... more

There are lots of reviews here that go on and on about how wonderful this place is, and I just want to sum up that it is all true -- and even if these reviews cause you to set high expectations, you will still be blown away when you go. By the way, the one negative review doesn't even apply... more

I spent nine fantastic days at the Oasis San Miguel de Allende. I traveled to San Miguel on a bit of a whim. So reservations were made at the last minute. But the truth is, no amount of planning and research would have resulted in a more perfect vacation. Hotel owners, Nancy and Mike are wonderful hosts. Along with their... more

My husband and I spent 4 nights in San Miguel as the first stop on our honeymoon. We loved our time at Oasis, which is ideally and conveniently located close to the Jardin and easy walking distance (even in heels, on cobblestones) to restaurants or the plaza to listen to Mariachis. We stayed in the lovely Sahara Suite, which was... more

A recent trip to San Miguel on business brought me once again to the Oasis which I found as pristine, serene and welcoming as ever -- from the attentive staff, to rooftop coctails watching the sun turn the church towers into living art pieces, to fabulous breakfasts with the freshest orange juice and fluffiest omelettes I've found anywhere. This is... more

this small boutique hotel (only 4 rooms) is in a league of its own. i've stayed in many, and seen a lot in san miguel. the owner has exquisite taste - it's unique, tasteful but not overdone. one feels genuinely swept into a dreamy world here: adorable staff (not invasive) - who fix you snacks middle of night should you... more
