When you arrive at Susurro, Zeke, the dog, and Charlie, the cat, welcome you at the door. Your room is spacious and furnished tastefully and very traditionally and the staff makes you feel right at home. Any needs you may have are easily taken care of and this, combined with the quaint, colonial feel of San Miguel, makes this a... more

Our second visit to San Miguel de Allende and we will return. Susurro was a delight, we stayed in Los Reyes at the top with 2 decks, perfect. Great breakfast and very helpful owner (Robert) and staff. Close enough to the square to walk in 5 minutes, no problem. more

We stayed at Susurro for a week in early July. We absolutely loved the property- it is a magical space that is laid out so you feel like you are always outside even when you are inside- gorgeous flowers, courtyard, balconies with views. It is a true San Miguel gem. The owner, Robert, absolutely loves San Miguel and loves to... more

What a wonderful week! Not only is Susurro a feast for the eyes, with Robert Waters' impeccable taste throughout , but Robert 's' warmth and hospitality really made our trip memorable. Robert 's genuine interest in others and love of San Miguel made us feel like guests pampered guests (which we were). Four of us went together to explore San... more

My husband and two daughters stayed here at this beautiful bed and breakfast while attending a wedding in San Miguel. Behind the front door, you will find a treasure from the talented owner Robert Waters -- the famous, tiled kitchen; the cozy common areas; the tranquil mini-pool; and comfortable rooms, The full breakfasts designed by Robert and executed by Lola... more

This Bed and Breakfast is magnificent and the accommodations are top drawer. We landed in Leon and took a car (which the owner of Susurro arranged) into San Miguel. Susurro is on a quaint street right around the corner from the Cathedral (great location). The B & B has been redone with an amazing attention for detail. It has a... more

We highly recommend this lovely B&B. A small but well appointed, esthetically appealing, and accomodating place. Tastefully decorated and run efficiently. The breakfasts were works of art and tasted wonderful. Thanks to Lola. The whole atmosphere of this gem was relaxing and unhurried. Our beautiful room with fireplace and patio faced west where sunsets had to be seen. Interesting and... more

Susurro was a great pick in San Miguel De Allende. It is a house that is run as a Bead & Breakfast and the owner lives there. Every morning we tried great dishes that had lots of taste and were very unique. Guests get a chance to meet each other by the dinner table at breakfast time. The owner also... more
