We had read about the San Sebastian on Trip Advisor and in a guide book and decided to stay here. We read they did not take reservations so it seemed like old time 3rd World travel. We had bussed in to the station and caught the local bus into town. It dropped us off just five minutes away from the... More

I absolutely adore this hotel! Me and two friends stayed a night here for $450 pesos. (around $39 USD) It's very beautiful! You walk into an open air courtyard with big plants and birds chirping! Sunlight spills in everywhere! Our room was towards the back. We had 2 queen beds. The room was big and painted bright yellow, very cheerful.... More

The place is easy to find and looks good from the outset. The bathroom in the room was probably the cleanest, brightest and best ventilated bathrooms of any hotel I stayed at in Mexico. The location is great and it has free parking. Awesome. The only downside is that the staff were thoroughly disinterested in anything and seemed to take... More

Rooms are very simple, but extremely clean, peaceful and well kept. Very close to the plaza. We enjoyed our stay very much

If you've gotten this far you have probably heard about all there is to say. I lived in San Miguel for years (years ago) and am probably more familiar with it than any other town. We still have undeveloped property there but live in another part of Mexico. When we visit, the Parador is our first choice. About the only... More

We chose this hotel based on the favorable reviews here on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Because we arrived on Friday of a holiday weekend, there was only one double room available. We were a little worried that the room would be noisy since it was right off the patio on the ground floor. It was actually fairly quiet.... More

Parador San Sebastian Review - 3 stars Parador san Sebastian located on Mesones Street in San Miguel de Allande is an excellent location for exploring this small city by foot. The sunny, plant filled courtyard is great for reading or working on your computer. The staff is cordial, but does not go out of their way to be friendly. I... More

We chose to stay in Parador San Sebastian 'cause my fiancee already stayed here the previous year. It has been a good choice: the parador is nice, quiet and very well located. I would advice to book one of the largest rooms as standard ones are quite little and dark; staff showed us both types available and let us make... More

Parador de San Sebastian at Mesones 7, steps from the Plaza Civica, is one of the great "finds" and "deals" in Mexican travel - particularly so in a popular destination such as San Miguel de Allende. Being in San Miguel de Allende is like wandering amongst the exhibits in a livling museum of Colonial-era culture in Mexico, in the "Cuna... More
