I paid about $30/night, which I thought was a great deal. Credit cards accepted. Huge room with fan. Very clean. Wifi. Ten minutes of hot water in the shower, which was just enough. Excellent restaurant onsite--great breakfasts for a pittance. Location was a short walk from the Plaza Mayor. Friendly staff. Tranquil and serene atmosphere. Hard to leave...

.....for many years. The family who runs it are very accomodating. The restaurant with the sweet little indian ladies as waitresses and the good food. Great simple breakfasts. The "commida corrida" (businessman's brunch) has five delicious courses. Good food. Good clean, safe hotel that surrounds a beautiful central garden. If you want TV ask for one of the new rooms.... Two of us shared a room, and the other two of us had our own room. Spic and Span clean. Bottled water supplied. Lovely grounds (they were working on them each day we were there), with pool (Feb. was too cool to swim), and awesome restaurant. Good service, delicious food (try banana nut pancakes and French toast with their homemade... More

I paid $475 without a tv and it suited me just fine. Beautiful view outside. Clean rooms with free bottled water and daily cleaning service. I never had any problem here, but I would have perfered a deadbolt on the door rather than just a simple push in lock. Great location.

Let's face it, there is so much to see in San Miguel Allende that why spend a fortune on rooms. The rooms and large, airy and clean and yes, perhaps they could modernize certain aspects but they are minor. The hotel has a large garden park and is within walking distance of everything. The food is delicious, we only had... More

I did not stay at Quinta Lorretta and only had dinner one evening. Great Service, Good Value, Good food. They will make food to your preference. We sat outside vs. inside. Great place for hosting private events. Even if you dod not stay at the hotel, the restaurant is highly recommendable. Family owned ( I think 2nd or 3 rd... More

Relaxing simple hotel/posada right in the heart of San Miguel. Close to everything and very convenient and safe. Basic rooms but spacious and clean. A quiet spot in the sometimes busy centro, dine, sightsee and dance nearby and still enjoy a quiet time at the end of the day.

The hotel is in an excellent location with a garden park right in front. The only reason we don't give it a higher rating is that it is older and could use some TLC. For example, the showerhead gave water every way but onto your body! The water pooled on the floor. But the location is spot on because you... More

Spent two nights in SMA and was looking for a hotel convenient to the downtown area that wouldn't break the bank. After trying a couple of other hotels on previous trips, decided to give this one a try. First, the pluses. Our room was huge, about 18x18 feet. There was plenty of room to move around. The location was excellent,... More

This sweet spot is a best kept secret for sure. It has a lovely garden, decent restaurant and even a pool (though I did not see anyone in it). It is a wee bit outdated and basic, but lovely and great value for your money. It is in the center of everything;located right at the artisan market. However it has... More
