The casa is a beautiful and unique. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was just missing a little for the price. At $250 a night I would have liked just a little bit more from the hotel. I would recommend it but save your money and get a cheaper room there.

We stayed at Casa Schuck for ten nights having never before visited San Miguel de Allende, or Mexico for that matter. We were immediately charmed by every detail. The solicitous staff, the marvelous multi-level courtyard, the purple-flowered jacaranda tree, the high-ceilinged room, the pool, the roof deck, the wonderful breakfast, the artwork, the history, the intimate scale, the convenient location,... We traveled as a family (with two kids under 10) to San Miguel de Allende and in looking for accomodations a local friend recommended Casa Cordelli. We stayed at one of its Villas which is within 5-10 minutes walking distance to the center of town. The Villas are very spacious and nicely decorated with all the necessary amenities. There is... First class accommodations located in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. The town reminds me of a small European town and this hotel has a sophisticated, inviting elegance that makes me want to curl up with a good book and relax. Every room has its own unique charm and style. The hotel is swathed in jeweled toned colors and... More

I don't understand the high rating given this hotel. The room we had (Jacaranda)was small, very dark and the safe did not work. The bathroom faucets leaked and the fan rattled! The bathroom amenities are very skimpy....thin towels, a miniature bar of soap and just one small pitcher of water for two persons. The hotel in general is very dark at... More

We have never been to Mexico before and after a 3.5 hr car ride from Mexico city suddenly we were driven down a steep street and told that our hotel was this little hole in wall at the bottom of this street. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by Guillermo and his wonderful staff who then proceeded over... More

Casa Schuck is elegant and very charming. Whether enjoying a garden breakfast or sunning on the upper deck in the late afternoon, the entire facility feels spacious and yet cozy at the same time, so one has a sense of both privacy and warmth. The views are wonderful, whether panoramic, as mine was, or interior looking onto the lovely gardens.... More

My husband and I stayed for ten days. It was a world class experience. We loved catching the sunset from the roof deck amidst beautiful gardens, relaxing in the courtyard atrium, honor bar and what a breakfast they put on! Centrally located, it is a great location to walk everywhere. Plenty to do and very cultural. Get the newspaper "attention"... More

For people who have traveled in Mexico and Latin America, you know that excellent service isn't always a given--even in nice hotels. Well, from the moment I started corresponding pre-trip about transport from Mexico City, massages, and general details, I received detailed information --quickly -- and knew Casa Schuck was top notch! This was a 45th birthday trip from my... More

This is a beautiful hotel in a charming city, just a few blocks to the center of town, with lots of shopping, resturants and night life. The hotel was amazing, very clean and welcoming. Loved the view from the rooftop patio. I could have stayed up there all day. Staff was very helpful and accomadating. Breakfast was wonderful. So glad... More
