This was my first trip to San Miguel, and I absolutely loved it! We were there for a medical mission trip, and our group basically occupied the entire hotel. I cannot express how wonderful the staff is here. Very hospitable, very polite, and they are eager to make sure you are comfortable. In the lobby, they have this delicious juice... More

Our hotel was situated in the perfect part of town, right in the center, The pool looked so lovely and inviting, but when we got it, it was freezing cold--they had not heated it. The 2nd day of our stay, the staff did turn up the temperature--thank goodness. Our room looked much nicer on the website. We had absolutely no... More

For the price you would imagine a better service and facilities. We stayed in a room facing the street and it was too noisy. Pool was freezing and no breakfast. If you are looking for great location it is ok, but that´s it.

We enjoyed our stay at Coqueta immensely. The proximity to the center is unbeatable, you really are in the midst of it all. Quaint rooms, lovely pool area and courtyard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and stylish. The church bells are loud but they can be heard in areas much farther away - as intended... More

Close to the main square, shops, restaurants, etc in centro. Property is well maintained and the room was clean. Nice courtyard and pool. We stayed for a week. Breakfast was indicated on Expedia, but only a few times was there some baking provided in the lobby. The church bells are loud, but any place near the main square would have... More

Other reviews mention issues with staff, well I should have taken that more serious. We paid up front for a room Thursday-Monday. When we arrived they said they do not have a reservation nor ever had one for us. But we were charged over a month ago for the reservation??She then offered another location farther away, no view, no breakfast... More

On a positive note: gorgeous view, central location, free coffee downstairs and free internet. Negative: The noise level is truly unbearable. The church bells are so loud you awaken before the sun and then trains, cars and dog howling continues to non-stop din all day. If you want to rest in the afternoon, you will have to listen to the... The location is great, it is in the center of town, but this brings many drawbacks: noise from the street, you hear the bells from the church. We heard the cars from the street all night long, and the church bells were going every 30 minutes... Since the hotel is next to the San Miguel cathedral (which is beautiful), there... More

The hotel is beautiful but the staff is very incompetent. One of my friends had to asked for an iron multiple times before they finally gave him one. For the price that we were paying, one would have expected to see an iron in the room. it is a basic amenity. Also one of the rooms (Balcon) was super tiny... More

This hotel could not be more beautiful or better-located. Rooms are well designed and spacious and clean and comfortable. The public areas, the same. It is just lovely, until the first time you try to sleep in past 5am and the noise from the street below is so loud that you can't converse with your partner. I read about the... More
