We stayed here only one night but were extremely please with accommodations. Quite diverse type of rooms. Some VERY large, all very typical Mexican decorations. The grounds are very attractive and well landscaped! The owner speaks perfect English and is both very nice and extremely helpful.

Don't look any further. Casa de Liza is gorgeous and yet reasonably priced. After walking the hilly cobblestone streets (steep like SF and Berkeley) it's a delight to be staying where it is flat and easy to walk to the best bakery, La Parada Peruvian restaurant and all the other restaurants on the main square which is about five blocks.... This B&B is stunning! Great breakfasts, lovely flowers everywhere, very convenient to walk around town. We stayed for four nights & would have happily stayed longer. Really, couldn't have asked for more.

Firstly, San Miguel is a joy to behold and to be in. The weather is perfect....50 to 79 F. year round with 310 days of sunshine. Everything grows here for 365 days per year. The air is clear, the people wonderful, food is great with restaurants in abundance, verdant parks, picture perfect landscape everywhere, colonial architecture at its finest. The... More

After weeks of trying and dozens of emails and calls trying to resolve the situation, I reluctantly leave my first negative review. My family stayed at Casa de Liza July 13-18th. It is a nice place, and quiet as we were the only guests all week. We paid one night in advance that was charged to my credit card at... More

Beautiful boutique hotel, excellent staff, service, food... hidden treasure. Value for your money. Lovely place to stay and get away. I the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Excellent for a romantic weekend.

Beautiful hotel, amazing gardens, excellent staff. A few blocks away from the "plaza" but that's ok, because you don't have all the noise near you and you can have a good sleep. Pet friendly. Include breakfast.

We recently returned from six nights in this wonderful, in-town hideaway, which is a lot classier than most B&Bs and much more relaxed than a hotel. Walled gardens are beautiful and fragrant. Our room, Cielo, was large, comfortable and nicely decorated with Mexican folk art and contemporary sculpture. Breakfast on the patio (or indoors on chilly mornings) was delicious, especially... I liked everything about this hotel: its location is still in the Historic Center, in the less known part of the Historic Center, so you get a sense of the town and its tranquility. I liked our room, which was warm, cozy and full of books. The bed is comfortable and the pillows too. The bathroom was not very private... More

I stayed 4 nights at La Casa de Liza and have only good things to report. Our room (Cielo) was ample and beautifully decorated and it included a lovely little terrace looking over a garden planted with a large Mexican orchid tree, a tall Poinsettia and many other flowers. The breakfasts are probably some of the best I've ever had... More
