La Casa Arriba is fantastic. The setting is romantic and beautiful -high on the hill above San Miguel Allende with a view of the colonial architecture and Parroquia below. It is a small guesthouse - three separate casitas with private entrances and terraces, artfully appointed with local craftsman's work. Hosts and staff are the best - helpful, but respectful of your privacy. A seperate kitchen is available with all the usual amenities, and the casistas all have private baths. WI-FI and phone service are provided, although you probably won't be so inclined after a few days of complete peace and relaxation. It is a short walk to the Centro district, restaurants,and the Jardin and all it's happenings. Highly recommended! You won't want to leave! more
