Surrounded by art, architecture, sculpture, folk art, crafts, flowers, color and light, it's a joy to inhabit Nanci's 'labor of love' (Casita #2 the Treehouse). In traditional San Miguel fashion, the 'outside is inside' with plenty of window space, skylights and even a cupola above the bedroom loft space (up a ladder), allowing the ever changing light of San Miguel... more

I stayed at Tres Casitas during Sema Santa 2009 and had a wonderful time. The accommodations couldn't be more comfortable. I stayed in Casita #1 and found it to be better than I could have imagined. The photos do not do it justice. Every amenity you could ever need is taken care of. The whole place is full of wonderful... more

My husband and I have been going to San Miguel for over 20 years and finally found our favorite place to stay. It is charming, comfortable and close to the center of town. We have stayed there many times and have always loved it. Nanci Clossen is wonderful to deal with and Maria who is really the manager is delightful.... more

We stayed in the "middle" of the Tres Casitas. It was exptremely private, but you could contact either of the other two Casitas if you so desired. It was secure, safe and totally equipped. There were three families ( all relatives) that visited at the same time. What a secluded, comfortable setting. more

We have stayed in all three casitas. My favorite is #3, but 1 & 2 are both a close second. The decor is fantastic in all. The location is the best-two short pretty flat blocks to the Jardin and close to all the best shopping and food. Maria is very helpful. The addition of hi speed internet is great. The... more

I thoroughly enjoyed my one week stay in Tres Casitas #3. Great space and beautiful decor, complete with Nanci's lovely artwork. The location, a quiet street just two blocks from the center of town, was comfortable (especially as a woman travelling alone) and convenient. The courtyard provided an additional sense of refuge. more

The casita waseverything and more than we had expected. It was decorated beautifully with art work, books , comfortable furniture and everything you would need. The outdoor patios were lovely with beautifull plants. Nice place on roof top for viewing the fir works on Sept. 16. Maria the caretaker was a big help and a darling person. The location was perfect...on a... more

This is our third trip to San Miguel. Tres Casitas topped our previous lodging by a long shot. Decor is fabulous, yet comfortable. We had plenty of privacy in charming Casita #3, however when we wanted to mingle, the common area was perfect. Many resources available in the casitas to become re-acclimated to San Miguel. Only several blocks to the... more

I am an artist who lived in San Miguel for several years and so when I could recommend places for my visiting friends or clients to stay I always recommended Tres Casitas. It's centrally located in El Centro, perfect for the newcomer to navigate anywhere in town. But even though it's close to downtown it is super quiet and intimate,... more

Tres Casitas was without doubt the best place I have ever stayed for vacation. The casita was very clean and also very relaxing. The rooftop garden offered a spectacular view of San Miguel. The location of the casita itself was very good as we were within walking distance of shops, restaurants and other points of interest. I wouldn't think of... more
