This is a most attractive property in an excellent location in San Miguel. I like the fact that the owner lives on the property and is available. The rooms were comfortable, clean and ours had a quiet patio and a kitchen which was easily shared with another guest. The breakfast in the morning was very good. We will return.

Extraordinary ! And magical on every level - from the setting to service , staff to opportunities to enter into the magic of this culture ! The diversity of other travelers , the stories of the locals and warm reception make it a wonderful solo retreat !

In March 2015, my husband and I stayed at Casa Mañana (sister location to Noche about 3 cobblestone blocks away) in the Mirador Suite which is on the top (3rd) floor of the Mañana house. The Mirador suite is basically a glass room with breathtaking views and a (almost) private patio with pergola and dining set. We loved it. (if... More

Casa de la Noche is like a piece of art, because it has a story and a life of it's own. I stayed there about a year ago and was fascinated by the history, charmed by the room, and I fell so in love with San Miguel I now live here. This place is so magical, the owner, the exquisite... More

I am not a b&b kind of guy, but I really loved staying at Casa de la Noche for the 8 days I was in San Miguel. It's amazing what's behind the front door on a typical, simple San Miguel street! The complex goes quite far back on many levels and has a wide variety of rooms to choose from.... More

I stayed here for 5 nights. Everyone was especially helpful and kind organising and taking care of anything I asked about from laundry to confirming transport and organising tours at the last minute. Breakfasts were more than adequate. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Just make sure you get the code for entry into the building. We got caught... More

A friend recommended this place. It is sublime! An assortment of charming rooms. Right in the heart of SanMiguel. Heavenly delicious healthy breakfasts. Helpful staff and a handson owner who will do anything for her guests.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay at Casa de la Noche. I was traveling alone, and they made me feel so welcomed. I loved, everyone who worked there, they took such good care of me. And Barbara, the owner, is fabulous ! I loved it and miss it terribly now .... I want to return.

Location was good for walking -this is a beautiful property and a block off the main boulevard. We splurged on "La Vista" room, both for the extra space and the rooftop views. There are stairs to climb, and you are at a higher altitude. Still, we were very happy with our choice. Décor is charming. Staff was helpful and most... More

Ex brothel, now converted, has Class of 1936 working girls picture in lobby. Rooms are comfortable, you do need to be able to walk stairs in hotel and curbs to get into town as it is not in town square. Breakfasts were excellent, staff helpful. Nearby shopping is fabulous. Barbara, owner, is present and patronizes local artists by having cocktail... More
