It was a wonderful and pleasant experience for both my husband and myself. The old bordello is like a sanctuary in itself; quiet and stillness in the midst of the moving centro where it is located. Really enjoyed "Jovita" (the housekeper and cook) and her nice breakfast. Barbara, the owner, is a pleasant and wonderful hostess, she makes you feel... more

San Miguel de Allende is a magical town and very special people come to visit. There is lots of hotels, B$B and other type of accommodation but Casa de la Noche does not belong in any of them. There should be a special category: HOME WITH A HEART. The house is truly georgeous, very Mexican and very":San Miguel". The owner,... more

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay. I can not say enough wonderful things about the property or the proprietor, Barbara. I was staying in San Miguel for just a few days as a side trip after visiting Guanajato for the Cerventino festival. The property had all the culture of a true Mexican villa, yet it had the cleanliness... more

Great place that's a 5 - 10 walk to the Jardin, La Parroquia (church), stores and restaurants. The owner (Barbara) was really helpful in the planning of our trip to San Miguel (in advance and while we were there). The room that we stayed in (La Vista Suite) was spacious and comfortable (especially the "tempurpedic" queen bed). She also provides... more

We have traveled much of the world, with accomodations ranging from 5-star to dirt floors. Most lodgings fade. But our eight nights in the Terrace Suite at casadelanoche were most enjoyable and memorable. The owner/manager Barbara Poole immediately made us feel at home. Highly recommended. more

My husband and I loved Casa de la Noche because of the location, the attention we got from the owner (Barbara) and her staff. There is a filter for the whole building so you can be assured of water safety... Breakfast to order: Mexican, American, vegetarian...... The rooms and studios are all very nice and airy with sitting areas toward... more

Casa de la Noche is charming, comfortable, very clean, and has everything you need at a great value. Barbara Poole is a fabulous inn-keeper and knows what to do to make guests feel at home. I have stayed there twice and Casa de la Noche will be my home away from home on all my trips to San Miguel. Love... more
