My recent stay at the Posada is a the worst nightmare a traveler can have. The room is very outdated and had a midew smell. I sat down to eat at the restauarnt and saw roaches crawling over the table. I had advised them of the roaches and they just laughed!!!!! They are down right rude more

I went on vacation the week of February 14-2004 and got the greatest service from the Posada de Tampico.They provide you with great service and like the other reviewers said the breakfast buffet is outstanding.This place provides great service and great rates! Check it out! more

Stayed there May 2, 2003. Nice Hotel, nothing exceptional, but nice. Has ample parking, and is outside of the central part of town. Excellent buffet breakfast. Can walk across to small mall and cine, or next door to great ice cream place. Take a taxi to the center of town. more

I have lived in Tampico since 1996 and have stayed in the hotel myself twice before finding a house. I also have arranged stays for my supervisors and for several groups from the States over the years. I've never had anything but glowing remarks about it. Its a really handsome place that features a central courtyard/garden with a beautiful swimming... more
