The view of course was spectacular. The staff was friendly especially the waiters in the dining room. Despite the buffet method, the food was good and the dining room spacious and welcoming (unlike the dining room at El Mirador, which was cramped). The hotel lobby itself included a bowl always full of free apples, a complete bar, and board games... More

The hotel is located at a comfortable spot since it is right outside the train station. The view of the cooper canyon is amazing. The rooms are OK although the service and the food are not that great. One day we visited hotel "El Mirador" and it seemed better and more fun but the view is better at Barrancas. Walking... More

The rooms overlooking the Copper Canyon were fantastic. Very clean, neat and comfortable. Staff was most helpful and assisted in finding really good guide to take us to Canyon Rim, Cable Car Ride and visit to more remote areas where original people actually live as the have for centuries. Within 50 yards of "El Chepo" stop and native vendors offering... More

Staff are friendly but speak little English we were able to communicate quite well with our minimal Spanish though. The view from the room was stunning. It's older but comfortable, no wi-fi. The local crafts are great

The hotel is the only hotel in Divisadero with a view to the cannyon. It is just across the street from the train station. The hotel has seen better days, I would rate it as a 3 star hotel and rated is as very good just because of the view. Rooms are basic, have private bathroom. No TV, but there... More

I would rate this as 3.5. The views are incredible from your balcony. It is a bit frustrating that the restaurant does not have a la carte options, just set meals. It is very convenient for the Chepe station. We had a ground floor room with balcony and when someone is moving about on the wooden floor above it is... More

The hotel is right at the canyon. The view from the bar and from the double rooms (78 € / night) is perfect. And that is it. - there is no other option to eat, so for dinner you HAVE TO take their restaurant. There you are not asked, what you need to eat, you get served table by table... More

It almost doesn't matter what the hotel is like, the view makes up for any shortcomings. Fortunately there are very few of the latter. The view is truly incredible, and certainly the best I have ever had. And all rooms have some view of the canyon. Go for the front rooms where you can sit on the balcony and see... More

The Copper Canyon is a beautiful place to visit. My husband has backpacked there numerous times. This hotel is right at the train stop (the only hotel that close). The hotel offers spectacular views of the canyon. The rooms are out dated, but were clean. Beds are hard, which is to be expected in most hotels in Mexico. I'd recommend... More

My wife and I went backpacking in the Chepe railroad, and had two overnight stops, one in creel and one here in Divisadero. All I can say is, this is the best view you can have of a sunrise in the copper canyons. The rooms are nice and small with no TV sets, and they all have a small balcony... More
