I stayed at 3 Balderrama hotels during this trip to the Copper Canyon. This hotel was the best. But not because of the room, the food, the furniture, the comfort. All 3 hotels were the same. Perfect. But this one has the view. As you walk into the dining room from the reception area, the view takes your breath away.... More

This place is on another planet. Stayed here for two nights of heavenly bliss. The location is amazing. You are met from the station with a free shuttle bus. All meals are included. The location really can't be conveyed in photos or words. People are saying its rustic..er hello, its designed like that. Worn sheets?? Really, everything here was high... More

The view from this hotel is just spectacular, breathtaking, the thing is, the room is not very comfortable, sheets are worn out as well as towels. Service is good, people are very friendly, the restaurant food is pretty good also, but the service ends quite early. If they invest more in the rooms furniture it would be a wounderful hotel.

Posada Barrancas is a place to stay one night for seeing and experiencing the canyons atmosphere and knowing a little bit about the Taraumara Indians culture. Mirador Hotel is the best for this! All the rooms are built with a balcony with an open and complete view to the canyons. You can see them in your window at sunset or... More

I found all of the staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The view of the canyon from the room was spectacular. The rather long driveway to the hotel needs grading and really should be paved. The room was clean and comfortable

There is little to add about the great view from the balcony of every room. It is indeed quite spectacular! I stayed overnight, arriving from the train in the afternoon and leaving on the train the next afternoon. Lodging and meals were included in the Copper Canyon tour. I had a room on the ground floor with a king bed,... More

The room itself is nothing spectacular. Getting to the room was a challenge. I'm not sure how many short and long flights of stairs were required to get to and from the entrance and dining room, but it was considerable. The food was simple, but sufficient. The waiters rushed us to leave the dining room without lingering for conversation with... More

This is more like a lodge in the mountains not a hotel, communal dining at long tables, no choice of food except breakfast, the bass lunch wS awful, very old fish I think, told it was chicken for dinner, was beef and mashed potatoes, no choices! Deserts were the best part. Second day was raining, hail, then now, roads closed... More

The Posada Barrancas Mirador offers a silent view of the stunning Cupper Canyon from a privileged, unique spot. I am probably adding nothing new to other reviewers, but just wanted to drop my compliments and big thank you for a stay difficult to forget. Nice staff and better than expected food as well.
