Exceptional views from all the rooms , restaurants and patio. The food was ONLY average..not so good and little porrtions...The hotel needs to improve on food quality and quantity Food server really nice. Rooms are Ok but in need to put fans and screens so you ca open the windos and let the fresh air come in.The patio balconies with... More

Wonderful hotel, peaceful atmosphere, friendly, funny and helpful staff, good food, great music in main areas - but the best of all were the views from the room terraces. Fantastic! We will be returning on a family trip and don't want to miss out on this place

The Hotel Mirador is a picture-book establishment. The views are awe-inspiring. The rooms are simple and there in no Internet or contact what-so-ever with the outside world as I found out when my family tried to contact me with a health emergency. I couldn't think of a nicer place to spend a couple of nights in the middle of nowhere... More

If you have looked at places to stay in Posada Barrancas on your trip through the Copper Canyon aboard El Chepe, then no doubt you've seen the amazing views of the Hotel Mirador. The hotel is perched on a cliff! Everything you've read about the view is true. The air, the oxygen, is so beautiful and peaceful, and, the icing... More

Stayed several nights at the Mirador in Copper Canyon, Mexico. Every room has a balcony! The view is beyond anything you could imagine. NOT for folks that have issues with heights. This hotel is hanging off the side of a mountain.

I am not going to try to think up superlatives to "one up" previous posters on how awesome the view is. That it has one of the globe's most splendid views is a given. So I'll keep my review to the facilities, amenities, and staff. When you step off the El Chepe train, there is transport waiting for you. The... More

This hotel has outstanding views and customer service. you are actually on the side of the canyon. the food was included and was very good. the only drawback was there is no wifi or tv in the rooms. I reccomend the horseback riding tour for 2 hours, it was great.

We stayed with 5 senior couples at this marvelous place. The rooms were fine and clean. The staff was were friendly and helpful. The set menu was nice and well appreciated by my 'spoiled' European friends. Unfortunately we could only stay one night before leaving next day to continue our El Chepe train trip.

This hotel is all about the view, and what a view it is. As you arrive there from the back, the hotel looks cute but fairly basic. As you enter your room, you feel the same way: very basic room, old furniture, no tv or AC (actually none is needed, you’re at 7500 feet elevation), small basic bathroom and a... More

What an appalling place. We booked a room with a view and because the hotel had a tour in, which they had not expected when we booked, we got stuck in the annexe, across the railway line. I had to argue with them about the price. The place across the way was far cheaper - 875 pesos per night, but... More
