Fantastic weekend, the staff were incredible, they were consistently very friendly and helpful. We ate on the Saturday night and it was the best lobster I have ever had, superb breakfast too, hats off to the chef. The sun even shone, not a bad thing to say about the place. So many activities and things to see on the door... More

We spent four nights here in early July as a convenient base for touring around the area. Very comfortable room and lovely public areas in which to relax. Excellent choice at breakfast including the usual cereal, juice, yoghurt, fruit and several cooked alternatives to the full Welsh. There are lovely views across the garden from the dining room. We did... More

Enjoyed a lovely few nights at Tyn Rhos. Lovely views from the well maintained gardens, and a wonderful relaxing conservatory for late afternoon drinks after a days hiking. Dinner was lovely and they reserved fish for us as it was sold out the first evening. Breakfast, fresh and plentiful and a great place to chat with other guests. My only... More

We stayed here in early June for four nights in room 1: Honeysuckle. One of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. It was large, very well appointed with French windows opening out onto our private patio with a view of the garden, fish pond and fields beyond - delightful! It was so nice that we added on... More

We spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are top notch - polite, efficient and friendly. The food was superb - really really good. And the room was what you'd expect from a country house hotel - a little dated but clean and comfortable. It's in a quiet spot, surrounded by fields, and the location combined... More

Spent lovely weekend here with friends for a Snowdon challenge. The breakfasts were amazing! I like food both healthy and hearty. There is a great range of fruit, dried fruit, cereals and yoghurts to get you started followed by any combination you fancy from their breakfast menu... Great poached eggs! Staff were friendly, knowledgable, helpful and warm. They were happy... More

We stayed here for two nights in May. The service at this hotel was quite extraordinary. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was also extraordinary. The quality of the food was exceptional- the sort of food you would get in a top restaurant. As for the quantity... I walked 6 miles in the day and could... More

Beautiful surroundings and loads of lovely places to visit. Staff and food were excellent-5* and we ate there every evening- expensive but well worth it if you are splashing out! Rooms were not 5* more 3* although bed was very comfy. I am not happy with a carpeted bathroom- a bit unhygienic and very tired. However this was in the... More

My wife booked us in to celebrate my birthday whilst we visited the Snowdonia National park and surrounding areas, Tyn Rhos proved to be the perfect retreat after a days activities, the conservatory and rest area had big comfortable sofas and chairs to chill out and relax in all with good views of the garden area and valleys. The bed... More

A weekend away for my birthday at Ty'n Rhos. We were met pleasantly, checked in, given a tour of the downstairs rooms, lounges, conservatory and bar. Then escorted to our room - really liked this personal touch. We had one of the courtyard rooms, away from the hotel. The room was fine, a little smaller than we had expected though,... More
