In my opinion, is the best place to stay and eat in Zipolite. The cabins are great and clean, the food is amazing, and they have a perfect taste in music. The people is very nice, and you can practice yoga every day. You just can't miss this place.

Agree with Nuria M that Posada Mexico's food is worth a look if you seek variety but El-Alquimista's food is a notch or two better at both breakfast and dinner. It is well managed and service was observant and attentive when you needed some and absent when you didn't. David and Paola at reception were on the ball. Anda, who... More

Amazing spacious cabanas on the beach, friendly staff, relaxing pool and a restaurant serving some of the best food I have eaten whilst traveling threw Mexico. A strong recommendation for anyone traveling threw Zipolite.

We just spent a week at El Alquimista and it was the most relaxing experience. The rooms are clean and airy, the pool is perfect, the restaurant delicious and reasonably priced. Service all around is A+. We also took yoga classes and they were fantastic. I just wish there were more umbrellas or shaded areas by the pool, but that... More

This was my third time to stay at El Alquamista. The hotel property is beautiful and the views are amazing. It is close to everything in Zipolite: restaurants, nightlife, etc. The property is located on the west end of the beach and is secluded. The hotel staff is gracious, kind, and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid-back. The... More

The location if fantastic. The beach is lovely but a bit dirty around the hotel restaurant. Dinner at the hotel in the evenings is romantically lit and the food is good to great. Our room was very large with an incredible balcony stretching the width of the room. Wifi is reliable in the rooms.

I spent two nights with the intention to be alone, reading and relaxing. This was the best place. a very good value. Individual cabins gave me what I wanted. The place is a magical. The location at the end of the beach incredible. Restaurant good, staff helpful, polite, with no complications. The pool quiet and clean. Definitely the best place... More

Stayed here with my husband in October - we had only planned to be here for two nights before moving on to Puerto Escondido but ended up staying for a week and enjoyed a lazy life....yoga in the morning...hanging out on the hammocks, lounging in the sun, reading and eating in the delicious restaurant each night. It was wonderful. We... More

Stayed there for 5 nights in May. Had a fantastic and relaxing break. All staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 11, and would recommend it. It's at the top of the tower at the back. There was no air conditioning in that room, but you do not need it as you get a lovely breeze from the... More

Everything is outstanding, the SPA, and Pool - it was new for me. - (I have stayed here 3-4 times) had not enjoyed them . Only problems is the restaurant does not accept credit cards. Cash only. Food is good, location is superior
