The location next to the thermal baths was convenient; the room and bathroom were modernized; the price was fair. Beware though that the unprotected parking lot was up the hill. You must pay for parking in front of the hotel.

The hotel is quite pleasant and the breakfast is good. The main "problem" we had was the swimming pool. We were advised during the reservation process we needed swimming caps. When we got to the hotel we where informed the pool would only be opened from the next week (15/6) onwards. Quite disapointing. Nevertheless the rest of the experience was... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your preference and comment. We are sorry we haven’t been able to meet all your expectations. The needed swimming caps are only for the Spa’s swimming pool. Please note that the information about the opening dates and schedules of the outdoor swimming pool is published in our website. Maybe the front desk staff hasn’t been... More

A few days Geres is a great idea. Walks throught the mountains coming back for a beer while watching the goings on in Mainstreet are a treat. Staying in this hotel adds to the wonderful experience. There is the comfortable feel to it that a hotel needs. Very nice and accommodating lobby. Good rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.... More

I could not believe it was just a 3star Hotel. Al the Hotel is very clean and all the decoration is modern and cozy at the same time! The breakfast was outstanding comparing with all other hotels I've been during holydays especially having in consideration that is only a 3 star hotel, but seemed at least 4 stars! The staff was... More

Don't expect luxury to be this hotel highlight, however the price you pay in our opinion is good if you look into the amenities the hotel provides to you. if you look for a place to sleep in gerês, this is a good option and you won't regret, that's for sure. the rooms are very simple, but clean, however during... When I arrived in Aguas do Geres, I was a little but suprised that we staid in a village with lot's of facilities. Like I read that we were in a national parc, at the beginning I missed the "nature feeling". But when you drive 10minutes you are in the middle of the nature and the advantage of the central... I stayed there in October 2009 for about 2 weeks. The hotel is in the middle of the National Park next to the thermal baths and spa. Just so you know, the hotel and the thermal baths are run by the same company, so you'll find a lot of people in the hotel who are there for thermal/spa treatments, as... More
