Always good food here and plenty of choice on the menu so there's something for everyone. Friendly service and a good atmosphere. Very welcoming. Eat in the bar area or the restaurant area. Recommended for lunch too.

A Boxing Day walk had morphed into an expedition !!! Longridge to Ribchester via Hothersall Lodge with four dogs in tow... We all were so pleased to find a pub open and happy to let a bedraggled group of adventurers and their dogs in for a rest and refreshment. Toasty welcoming fires crackled and added to our already glowing faces.... More

Fantastic evening. Served by a pixie and faeries. Delicious food. Ample servings. Wonderful, attentive service and unbelievable value for money. Service is always good, whenever we visit. Just wished we lived closer. We love it here.

Having discovered this pub early on in the summer, we have now been about 6 times and never been disappointed yet, the pub itself is charming, homely and welcoming, the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you and the food is fabulous, all in all we've had lamb, beef, fish, pie, curry and all have been very... On our visits to England to see friends and family we spend some time in Ribchester and have now stayed 4 times at the Ribchester Arms, this last time under new management. We found Phil and Tina to be pleasant and helpful hosts, just as we had found their predecessor Leon. The bedrooms sadly need updating, the beds MOST uncomfortable... More

I write as Chairman of the large Blackburn and East Lancashire Friendship group and at least two walks a week through a broad swathe of the Ribble Valley and East Lancashire have been included amongst our activities over the last 15 years. Inevitably the walks have terminated at welcoming hostelries for lunch and our members have enjoyed and established excellent... More

I was visiting a weekend conference and concert in Longridge and a local friend suggested the Ribchester Arms. Not only was the booking process easy (even if the room requests were slightly complicated!) but the rooms were delightful, the location so idyllic, the staff and proprietors so kind and helpful (sorting out a meal and a table on a busy... My hubby and I ate here the other evening when the place we wished to visit was booked up. Car park very busy, but that was because there was a private function taking place. Staff very helpful and we were shown to our table in the restaurant. Specials were explained and a lovely lady with long red hair took our... More
