No worries here. The accommodation was modern, very clean and stylishly equipped. The breakfasts were superb with both continental and traditional. How do they cook the bacon and toast so well each morning?. Glynis & Gordon are naturally friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back. Ken & Martie, Western Australia.

We were going to a wedding in the area and chose the Lychgate becasue it looked good and seemed very well organised. It more than met expectations. The hosts, Glynis and Gordon, are calm nd charming, the room was really attractive and comfortable and the food was delicious. It's also very well located, as we could stroll across the road... More

Stayed at the Lychgate as my daughter was competing at the nearby David Broome Centre. Ideal location, short drive or pleasant 10min ramble across the fields. I don't stay at B&B's that often, but what a surprise. The room easily matched a high quality hotel standard, something I wasn't expecting, felt very guilty when I noticed I'd left a muddy... More

We stayed here for one night in March. Glynis and Gordon were very friendly and showed us to our room. It was superbly appointed and spacious. The bathroom was stylish and had a large walk in shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious, one of the best we have ever had. In all, it was perfect. Thank you... More

Myself and my other half spent a weekend at the Lychgate in February and it was just lovely. The room was beautifully decorated. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was gorgeous! We highly recommend this Hotel. We were made to feel welcome straight away and will definitely be going back!

My daughter and I stayed at The Lychgate again, following a previous visit last summer. Once again, we received a warm welcome from Glynis and Gordon, the room was still in tip-top decorative order, the towels white and fluffy with the same high standard of shampoo, etc. It was so nice to come back to a place we'd so enjoyed... We stayed here for 2 nights (April 4-6, 2012). We are a family of 4 with 2 young children. Our room had 1 king & 1 single bed. Our 7 yr old had the single, and we and our 2 yr old shared the king bed. The room was gorgeously decorated and the ensuite bathroom perfect. The shower was nice... More

We booked a Saturday night stay, just for a flying pre-Christmas visit to see relatives. We received a very warm welcome from Glynis & Gordon on arrival, were shown the facilities available (DVDs, books, CDs), where the breakfast room was & timings for breakfast the following morning. We were then shown to our room, the 'Chepstow', absolutely beautiful room. Immaculate... More

I booked this bed and breakfast as my son was competing at Cricklands. It was not a straightforward booking as my husband was changing over with my parents during the 3 days of the competition. The owners were incredibly accomodating and tolerant of a few last minute changes. The reports back from my husband and parents was that it was... More

The Lychgate was a second choice because I couldn't book into a nearby hotel for a business trip. I was not disappointed. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel most welcome. The room was really well decorated, warm and inviting. Roomy shower. And a proper tea/coffee pot! Bed comfortable and fantastic crisp white linen. The hosts accommodated... More
