We stayed in this B&B late August and loved it so much. This B&B is disabled friendly (apart from shower) and has ramped access at the back. The room is gorgeous, the food wonderful it is the hostess Catherine that is the star. So kind, thoughtful and within a few short minutes a friend. Treated like royalty we were just... More

Been there at August, Scoil Acla date. At the very edge of Achill. Best landscape ocean view, big and comfortable room, very clean. Very kind hostess, helping a lot. 5 star breakfast and coffee/tea/cake along the day. Micheal, the owner, has a taxi Van, took him to a 3 hour Achill guided tour.

What a wonderful place to stay! We so enjoyed arriving to that beautiful coffee and fruit cake and other goodies.. The breakfast of salmon on scrambled eggs was heavenly. The local knowledge of where to explore was so appreciated. Wonderful Irish hospitality - and that is even before I start on the unbelievably beautiful view. It is a tad further... More

I only stayed for one night in this B&B and although I found the house to be lovely, the breakfast great and the location good, my friends and I were made to feel very unwelcome by the owner, Catherine, the morning we checked out. She made it very clear to us that she wanted us out as quickly as possible... More

I came to ireland for the first time last month for a wedding on Achill Island and found this wonderful guesthouse to stay in run by Michael and Catherine, two of the most personable, decent and openhearted people that I have had the pleasure of meeting in Ireland. Upon arriving Catherine offered to iron my shirt that I was wearing... More

We stayed one night. Catherine is very friendly and made us feel at home. Location is just after Dooagh which is heading towards the very beautiful & remote Keem beach. Geilty's bar is walkable from the B&B with decent bar food to keep you going. The B&B is on it's own with amazing views of the sea and cliffs. It's... More

We stopped here on recommendation from our other B&B in the area, as they were away. We will now always keep these on our list as equal choice with the other (not far away) to stop with. This house is purpose built, and is really very nice. If you want TV late at night or in the morning, there's a... More
