The room was fine-the bathroom along the corridor. A separate toilet was available but the door lock didn't work. The price was OK compared to others in the area and if you were into English breakfasts it was probably OK. We are vegetarian so some cereals, fruit and pastries would have been welcome instead of just bacon and eggs.

Thank you for your review. The breakfast we usually provide is a Full English, however, we do cater for guests who are vegetarian or have any other dietary requirements. Toast & jam is also provided at breakfast time, and cereal is available, along with a full English breakfast (or alternative). We are happy to change anything, providing you let us... More

We virtually took a pin and got Oddfellows Arms, and all I can say is that you really do win sometimes. We were made very welcome and the accommodation was of a really high standard. There is no en-suite, but our room was almost next to the bathroom so there was nothing for us to complain about in that direction.The... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights, when we arrived we were shown to our room (room 2) it was clean and modern but not en-suite. There is a shared bathroom at the end of the hall, which wasn't a problem on our first night as we were the only people there. bed was really comfy! Which is... More

There's a bit of a problem finding somewhere to stay in Blyth. The appalling Ridley Park has closed, and its a Premier Inn-free area so the only place I could stay was the Oddfellows Arms at the outer reaches of Bridge Street. I needed to be close to the town centre and this is only five minutes walk away, in... More

I was travelling with a bunch of cyclist doing the Coast & Castles route from Newcastle to Edinburgh. Blyth was the first overnight stop of our trip and we chose this B+B simply as there didn't seem to be much else! We received a warm welcome on our arrival and the ground-floor bar was open which was great as we... More

We saw the sign for B&B on the pub along the road and the landlady herself showed us the way to the pub with rooms upstairs. We were there alone, so we didn't mind that the rooms weren't en-suite. We payed 72 GBP for three adults, we got a twin and a single room. There was a large bathroom with... More

The overall feeling is that this should stay as a pub or B&B as the noise from the bar downstairs is VERY loud...i would suggest you decline a stay in No4 as it is above the speakers and the noise was louder in the bedroom than the bar !,Breakfast not very good and could not speak to the owner as... Booked into our B&B. staff and locals very nice. Rooms clean and nicely decorated but not ensuite. There are 5 rooms that share 1 bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and toilet and 1 separate toilet with a wash hand basin. This room has a half glazed glass door that could do with a blind inside for privacy. Breakfast average... More
