The Hotel Pegasus is situated in an ideal central location in Kala Nera, near to shops, tavernas ,bus stops and the beach We found the staff friendly and very helpful despite they didn't speak much English .Breakfast is served at your table with a choice of bread, ham ,cheese, fruit, eggs and yogurt,a really nice start to the day. The rooms are adequate in size... More

My wife and I have just returned from 2 weeks at the Pegasus. We had a wonderful stay, Yannis the manager and George the waiter/barman were both polite and very helpful. The hotel is spotless and always very cool. Breakfast was served to your table and consisted of a full tray of different foods to suit anyone. Although it was... More

A lovely hotel with wonderful, friendly staff where nothing is too much effort. Fab location, yards from the beach with lots of tavernas close by. The beaches are clean and the sea often looked as still as a mill pond so good for swimming. There are supermarkets close by as well as a nice bakery.

We stayed here during the last 2 weeks in September when it was very quiet and restful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable with free safes and air con and a lift! The rooms are not huge, but adequate with comfy beds and pillows and plenty of storage. Also a full sized fridge and hairdryer. There were only 2... More

We stayed at the Pegasus Hotel on 21st June 2013. After a delay through flying out, (we booked through Monarch but flew with Small Planet, after a 8 hour delay, that was known with the airline weeks in advance), we ended up not getting to the hotel until 10.30 at night. The owner of the hotel greeted us outside took... More

Have just returned from a week in Kala Nera staying at the Hotel Pegasus. Could not fault either hotel or resort. Beds of course hard and bathroom small (typical Greece). The hotel was very clean, lovely breakfasts outside bought to you on a tray. Attentive and friendly staff. Resort is small but lots of bars and restaurants, perfect!

We found this place as a walk-in and were delighted. The town, Kala Nera ("Good Waters") about 10 miles from Volos, is on Pilion, an incredibly scenic peninsula, popular with Greeks and Europeans. Hasn't been discovered by Americans yet. The photos from the other two reviews are accurate. Basic room, but w/ a view of the sea from the balcony... More
