We are so delighted with this bed and breakfast. The location is idyllic, the host is wonderful, breakfast was delicious, the views from the room are just gorgeous... I could go on and on, and everything I would say would be good. It is simply one of the best b&b I have ever been to (and I have been to... More

We were able to book two days before in this most remote area of the Beara Peninsula and feel really lucky! The view was wonderful and this is a very special B&B . Irene is the consummate host, seeing to her guests' every need. The coffee and tea in the room was welcome, the breakfast was very complete and delicious... More

We arrived here in the late afternoon, when the weather was meant to turn from the hot and sunny days we'd been having. We were eager to go for a walk, and after showing us to our room, Irene recommended the Copper Mine trail, which turned out to be an excellent hike. The continental breakfast selection is outstanding, with lots... More

I have been walking the Beara Way and Irene's Beach View B&B in Allihies was the best! I was on foot so Irene picked me up after dinner in the village. The room was clean with tea and coffee making facilities. The B&B is on a quiet road about a km from Allihies, which means it is quiet but that... More

We've been to Ireland 8 times now, have stayed in many b&bs, but this one had more attention to detail then any before. We had a long days drive from the east coast, arrived in Allihies town at 9pm, stopped at the pub for soup and a pint, mentioned where we were staying, the publican called Irene at the b&b,... More

Not in the center of Allihies but nicely located and with a view. The hospitable owner is a cheerful, helpful, very pleasant lady. I was here with my husband and a hiking group and we got royal treatment. The rooms were very clean, tea and coffee in room, TV, nice toiletries. There is Irish breakfast in the morning in a... More

It wasn't my first stay at Beach View and I'm pleased to see it doesn't change: the same lovely house, warm welcome, nice room and huge breakfast, and also this more than perfect cleanness! Beach View house is worth the journey to Allihies and I'll return again and again.

We stayed in Irene's B&B last weekend, and it was a lovely experience. Irene herself is very welcoming, friendly, helpful, but unobtrusive. She offered to drive us to the village for dinner and collected us when we rang her later on - a great service! The B&B is top class. Spotlessly clean, the bedroom was of hotel standard. The breakfast... More

Irene has it! She has the natural flow to make you feel comfortable and at ease! We slept in the family room and it was sooo cosy! Also very clean :) You can make tea at your room, so that's also nice after a walking trip. The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of fresh fruits! You can also order... More
