Alsisar Mahal is in the middle of Alsisar, which is in the middle of nowhere. It is a genuine Indian palace, slightly renovated, offering some rustic charm. Its potential, however, is far from fulfilled. Pros: - Nice setting Cons - Weak service - Rooms of little comfort (almost no heat during winter) - Poor breakfast - Poor internet

From the website it is impossible to garner what a beautiful palace it is. I had a long chat with the owner, the very charming young Raja "Abby" and, knowing now, that all of his staff is local one should make allowances as to a bit lax service. However, just staying there surrounded by this Beauty, dining outside on the... More

I went with my family for a weekend trip to Alsisar Mahal and I should say it was worth it. Let me share a few things. Road I travelled from Gurgaon to Alsisar; approx 245 kms. Took the NH-8 raod till Behror and then road to Narnaul-Chirawa-Jhunjunu-Alsisar. Excellent road throughout. Except for a village patch before Narnaul. Takes 4-4.5 hrs... More

After a long search for the long weekend I came across this beautiful mahal and as the reviews in tripadvisor said the palace was beautiful one. But what lacked was the service. Basically this was there off season and there hotel got bookings in last two days but that is not a excuse they could have arranged people and serviced... More

We visited this property for the long weekend on the independence day. The route to the Alsisar mahal via bhiwadi-rewari-narnaul is the one that I would suggest....please please please do not take the jajjhar route that route is too long and full of puddles. Coming back to the property, the property is good and it looks even better by night.... More

I just visited Alsisar Mahal from Delhi and it was Hot temperature in Alsisar during day and nice during night and early morning till 6-7 AM. There are many trains from Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Sadulpur (Rajgarh), from there about 45Km road to Mahal. Roads to Alsisar Mahal are bad in condition, narrow for two vehicle to pass. Please don't... Pathetic place. The location is inside narrow lanes and in a village where you wont even find anything to eat or drink and that includes chips and water. If you are thinking about the in house restro give it a miss. The buffet is pathetic, exorbitantly priced for a very small variety and disgusting taste. Burnt sweet potatoes served in... More

The property is beautiful and is very well maintained. Cleanliness and hygiene is just not an issue. the rooms are huge and very beautiful interiors.. the staff otherwise is cooperative but the kitchen services has to be improved. We went for two days and on day one they served us very average breakfast. Since there were not many people so... More

The mahal converted palace hotel is totally worth a penny. I traveled with bunch of friends and found it cumbersome to travel from Delhi. But the services provided by the mahal is totally commendable. In spite of us reaching late, they made sure to serve us piping hot food and suggested us things to do for next day. The food... More

Great village, probably not very well known to the corporate markets and Delhi crowd and hence it still does not look over crowded. The staff made the stay at the hotel a pleasure. The food probably is not the highlight, but during winter if you get an open space to eat in the mahal, it would be magic. They have... More
