Basic hotel just few steps away from Vagar airport (the only airport at Faroe Islands). The hotel is nice and quiet even despite airport nearby. Food is fairly good and staff is friendly, however they work only until 10pm. Unfortunately the way from the airport to the hotel isn't well marked, but we managed to find our way as it... More

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk from the new terminal building at the hotel. As it is the only hotel within easy reach of the hotel, it appears to take advantage of this, and service suffers. The hotel is a modular construction, which is not unusual, but many of the rooms face directly... More

Stayed for two nights at this hotel and it was pretty basic. Not anything special but close to the airport and for our visit to Mykenes. Don't know about the price since it was included in a package. A great plus was the beds. Soft, comfy, and with a wonderful duvet. Can recommend it as an average hotel which served... More

Yes, the Hotel is walking distance from the new airport terminal, it is, therefore, convenient. It was very clean. It was not uncomfortable. However, the rooms are small, they are twin-bedded, with one quilt per bed and a small chasm in between, even if you do specify a double bed when booking. Breakfast started as check-in closed for our flight;... More

A clean, functional hotel with very easy access to the airport and with some beautiful scenery in close proximity. The hotel, however, is a little soulless and it's location lacks imagination. The rooms were, however, good and the toilets and showers spotless. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. The local area has some spectacular sea stacks, islands... More

This is a small hotel where I stayed for 1 night and had both breakfast, lunch and evening meal. The room I had was clean and nice, not too big, but the right size for a hotel of this size. The food was quite good, although the evening meal was not necessarily perfect (the beef was too cooked), and the... More

This hotel looks pretty ominous from the road – it is totally unmarked – no name – unpaved parking lot – and looks like a construction site. The interior is much nicer and clean, bright, and friendly. The charge something like 8$ for the use of a foreign credit card. For what? The never told us this. The rooms are... More

our trip planner put us here for our first night. seems to be the only hotel around in this area. it looks a bit grim on the outside but the rooms are quite pleasant and was fairly comfortable but always hard to sleep in a new place. Breakfast was a nice buffet and had enough of a selection to keep... More

This airport hotels markets itself as a 4 star hotel with beutiful wiews over Mykines island. At first site it looks ad a rig for construction workers. The only reason for why we booked it was because we wanted to see the sunset from thei outdoorr Yacuzzi (highly marketed on their web page), we where told that the yacuzzi was... More

This hotel is the only choice for accommodation anywhere near the Faroes Airport. It is basic but fine and it was a life saver for me when my flight out of the Faroes was delayed by 30 hours. I stayed at the Hotel Streym in Torshavn from 18-22 July 2012 and was due to leave on a 3.30pm Atlantic Airways... More
